I went there with my girlfriend while we were visiting our friends in Porsgrunn. From the moment you enter the restaurant you're feeling like you are in right place. Friendly atmosphere, smiling people and beautiful warm place make you feel like at home. We had three course meal and all of these dishes were great (Shrimps, enterecote and lava cake as a dessert). It's good to try their wines and they can easily recommend you how to pair wine with your meal. After dessert as a beer lover I felt in love with their local craft beer.
Great experience, delicious food and really good time that we spent during our visit Norway.
101% recommended!

I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals I had ever had. I highly recommend gnocchi with pesto, pine nuts, and with delicious burrata cheese on top it. For the starter, I had tortellini with chanterelles mushrooms and with a perfectly creamy sauce. I also had very tasty fries with truffle oil. Besides that, I had a dessert and it was tiramisu with pistachios. As a vegetarian, I was really satisfied with my dishes. This restaurant is high class with an amazing staff and management! You can feel that this place was created with passion!

Excellent dishes, beautiful decor, qualified and very nice staff who will help advise you choising of food. delicious dishes, fresh ingredients. additionally food was served beautiful. Dessert- pistachio turamisu, was delicate and expressive at the same time. the visit was very nice, I will be happy to return to this place.

Absolutely fantastic food in a pleasant atmosphere. Everything we were served on the plate was absolutely delicious and gave us a wonderful dining experience. The waiters were incredibly pleasant, and the restaurant was completely full, yet they had full control and the food arrived quickly. This is a date we will live on for a long time. Highly recommended!

Came to Merci with my friends and spent 8 hours there.
Fair to say we tested a big part of the menu. Everything was fantastic, from all the small details to the main dishes, you could feel the quality and passion put into the food. This combined with tasty, unique cocktails and great service made the experience so good we didn't want to leave. Will definitely come back. Who knows, might take a plane just to visit Merci, highly recommend.

Five stars is not enough to describe the experience in that restaurant. Staff is amazing the food mesmerising and the vibe in that place is inimitable. The best food that I have ever eaten with every little detail absolutely mouthwatering. Deserts are also extremely tasty with the outstanding lavakake that is beyond the words and in my opinion better then in Michelin restaurant that I have eaten recently. I highly recommend this place to everyone food and drinks are just to die for and I can’t wait to eat there again.

Nice and cool atmosphere. Nice service. Got assigned table space as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. Ordered drinks immediately and this came relatively quickly. The waiter came by at appropriate intervals and expedited.
Ordered food from summer nights and the food was of good quality and tasted very good!
The dessert took some time, but it was given information in advance.
All in all a very nice experience.

Went for a birthday meal with my boyfriend about a month ago and we still talk about the food we had. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming we loved every minute of our visit. Can’t wait to go back !

Lovely food, fantastic atmosphere and service. In addition to the food looking like a work of art, it was the best steak we've had in a long time. Very long. Very nice employee who took tomorrow's requests with a smile. We will be back!!!

We were 4 people on 030224. All together ordered lasagne and dessert. Very good flavors and a good portion for both dinner and dessert. This was so good that it received the second highest grade. The highest grade is missing as the food was lukewarm when served.

The entire visit, from the time we were welcomed to the time we thanked them, was very good. Pleasant and service minded waiters. Scallops and tartar for starter and halibut for main course. Lava cake for dessert. Everything was invitingly arranged and tasted very good. We will be back!

Fantastic experience. The tradition with the guys, LUTEFISKAFTEN. Have used the city's restaurants for several years. This year the choice fell on Merci!!!

Saturday night, packed with Christmas party guests, so we expected it to be a bit chaotic. But here there is full control from start to finish. Attentive waiters, pleasant service and very good food. This is probably Grenland's best restaurant at the moment!
