I love this place, mostly because of the sandwhiches. You can make your own and choose from a big sortiment of meat and greens, only downside is that it is a bit expensive. But it is definetly worth it! They also have ecological juices and homemade granola, bread etc.

We ate morning pastries and coffee here and the service and food was very good. They can make almost any kind of sandwich, especially a breakfast sandwich.

Hey. Nice place to stop. Great hot chocolate and some super cinnamon buns. Got us out of the rain for a short while.

Godt brød has some of the best baked goods in the city, with scrumptious baguettes made on demand. It is a popular spot to have lunch for the locals, and can be quite crowded at times, so a bit of patience might be required before you get your food. But it is worth the wait.

When I was in Bergen 2 years ago, there were 2 of these. Now, I counted at least 5! I hope more of them will open in Bergen and elsewhere. Their choice of breads is excellent and you get to make the sandwich the way you want it. The soup of the day is almost always vegetarian, and this time... More

We stopped off during a walk around the city for lunch. Good choice of sandwiches on tasty bread with several vegetarian options.

What about tidying cups and glasses? And keeping the facilities a bit more pleasant? Last Saturday there were dirty cups and plates side by side of the clean glasses at the tap for drinking water on first floor. Toilets a bit messy, but still clean though.

Imagine the Subway sandwich shop experience only with exceptional bread, meats and toppings. You've got Godt Brod. Very pleasant service, as we have found everywhere in Norway. Pricey (almost $30) for two sandwiches a soda and a water. But we've found Scandinavia generally to be pricey and this was not out of line with anywhere else. Good choice for easy... More

Buy your bread for your apartment, buy a snack and a coffee, chose a bread roll and have it made up into a sandwich , buy your funicular tickets at the same time - all possible here - staff are fantastic- quality of baked goods excellent ans only issue is what to chose !

Coffee and cakes expensive and not THAT tasty. Maybe I had big expectations but I would not recommend it.
