A pleasant restaurant with attentive staff. The food was great and plentiful and my mussels were the largest and juiciest that I have ever had.

The food is delicious. The service is excellent. There is wide choice on the menu, without it being too much. The location of the restaurant is good. It is closet Mumbles seafront. Highly recommended.

A real Italian restaurant, as opposed to one of the big chains like Prezzo etc. Friendly and attentive service, and not much delay in serving the food/drinks. We both had seafood Linguine with the squid ink linguine ( had run out of plain linguini) ....Good seafood pieces on a well cooked pasta. However we both felt the sauce was lacking something, and would have been better if it was a bit richer. Plus the pasta seemed to have been cooked with no salt at all. Appreciate this is a matter of personal taste, and that authentic Italian cooking is not the same as ' UK Italian' ( which tend to overdo the richness/saltiness) but this is our honest opinion.More

Excellent, unpretentious little Italian restaurant set in a row of shops on the Mumbles seafront. Great food cooked to order. Chef/kitchen visible to diners which is a nice touch. Very tasty pork belly and carbonara. Delicious sea bass. Good wine selection and yummy gelato. Attentive...friendly service. Good value. Happy to recommendMore

We went tonight. We were surprised about the quality of food. Staff friendly, small cosy restaurant, wine list is a bit limited but still OK, the food was excellent and fresh. It tasted home made. The red wine was a bit warm, but we got...it cooler. The fish was very fresh and tasty, and so was the Italian mixed salad. The lasagne tasted authentic and very tasty. I had ricotta/spinach ravioli as a starter and they were very good. A restaurant we definitely recommend.More

In and around Swansea, if you like cardboard based pizzas or rubbery pasta you are spoilt for choice. However if you want to enjoy genuine Italian cooking, then this restaurant is for you. All courses, my wife and my own, were top grade, as was...the Sicilian wine. In fact if you closed your eyes, listening to the owners' family dining in the background, you'd think you were in Italy! Highly recommended Dr Raymond CaleyMore

For our first night of our short break in Mumbles, we had chosen to, based on reviews, dine at the best restaurant in town. We were not to be disappointed. We had reserved our table weeks in advance, which was a good move, because we...would have been devastated to miss-out. We were shown to our table at the rear of the restaurant adjacent to the viewing window into the kitchen. A great spot for watching creativity at work. The two chefs were constantly on the go, and producing great plates. We studied the menu and, for our for starters and mains, we were in full accord; it just had to be fish for both courses. We then chose our wine to suit, this was a really pleasant Sicilian “Tasari Grecanico”, a light, dry and soft wine, with crisp apple and lemon tones. This wine was very similar to a Sauvignon; the palate mellowed-out to delicate peach and orange finish. Just lovely! To start it had to be, for both of us, the ‘Capesante alla Siciliana’: three seared scallops in a sauté of garlic, capers, roasted red peppers and fresh cherry tomatoes. Wow, these were fabulous scallops: perfectly ‘just cooked’, and the reduction brimmed with flavour, the vegetable crisp balanced on the top was a good foil, but we could only guess what is was made from. For mains (again for both of us) it had to be the ‘Medaglioni di Rana Pecsatrice, Crema de Njuda e Salsa Verde’: this was seared monkfish fillet wrapped in Parma ham with a cream of Njuda sauce with green salsa dressing. This plate was served with a side of sauteed potatoes and veg of the day (carrots and buttered white cabbage). Again ‘Wow’, this was delightful and rich, such an absolute joy to eat, perfectly cooked! We differed with our choice of desserts: my partner had the Tiramisu and I chose the Panna Cotta with Mango sauce. Predictably these plates were a ‘Wow’ too. The Panna Cotta was sublime just the perfect measure of gelatine to produce the right texture. My Partner’s Tiramisu was perfect: so light and, let’s be fair, so sinful as to feel that you need to protect others from being similarly corrupted. It was a fabulous top-notch meal in a top-notch restaurant. It was certainly ‘Wow’ food, and great service in a restaurant that had such a wonderful ambience.More
