Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to go to QP for my sister's 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint! Donte our waiter was extremely professional and on point with the service provided. The food was great but the highlight of my night the dessert - I really wanted...the chocolate soft serve ice cream as that was the craving but unfortunately it wasn't available. Jeunessa however came over and offered the vanilla soft serve ice cream with chocolate sauce which made my night! It is little things like these that make the experience 10 times much better and I must say the staff here make it totally worth it!More

Quite simply appalling. A table booked for 8pm, which we were finally shown to at 9pm. Seated in the bar area for over an hour & it took 35 mins to be even served a drink! Resembles a cheap 90s disco with music so loud...you can’t even have a conversation. People dancing around your table, including waiters who didn’t know the meaning of service. Food was quite simply moderate at best & the worst meal we’ve ever had in Barbados. Unbelievable that what was once one of the premier restaurants in Barbados could be reduced to this.More

We had called into QPB earlier to book our evening meal and saw what a beautifully situated restaurant it is - but even that did not prepare us for our arrival at sunset, three days later. It was simply stunning, with the elegantly dressed hostesses...first taking us to the panoramic lounge area and quickly taking our drinks order. It was also very noticeable that our fellow diners had all dressed well for their Friday evening at QP - it’s been a long-time since we saw that happen in a UK restaurant. After drinks from the ‘happy-hour’ list (and lots of photo opportunities) we were taken down three levels, to our beautiful, ocean-side table, with several tarpon swimming beneath us. Looking up into the body of the beautifully-lit restaurant, suggested the title of this review! Our waiter, Samuel took our order promptly and looked after us excellently throughout the evening; the Maitre D’ too was much in evidence. We ordered from the ‘set menu’ - which included most of the full menu options and included two generous glasses of Prosecco. The ‘salt & pepper’ squid and Greek salad staters were both lovely and our two Mahi-Mahi risotto main courses were beautifully cooked and generous in size. Two light and tasty tiramisu’s completed our wonderful meal - although a nicely decorated ‘birthday dish’ then appeared! Live music started around 8:00pm and the four musicians were clearly very professional (and not too loud either.) The cost of the evening, though not cheap was excellent value and it all took place in a setting which would be hard to better anywhere, not just in Barbados. Well done QP.More

The only good thing about this place is the view and the band. The food was average at best and the service was appalling. A set menu of three courses and after our dinner plates were taken they didn’t bother to come for the next...40 minutes! In the end our taxi was outside and they wouldn’t charge per course so we were forced to pay for a dessert we didn’t actually have…. Shocking service and would not recommend.More

Complete shambles the staff are so bad it’s like a bad dream It would be easier to walk on water than it was to get a drink we had read the reviews and thought it can’t be that bad but what a mistake we made...lots of them but completely under managed we made our excuses and left and they did not bat an eye lid the table next to us said it was the same for them and their food was at best disappointing I do hope they sort it out but would suggest a lot to do and new management required and quicklyMore

Having read a few negative reviews we debated whether to book a table at QP, however I'm so glad we did! Arrived at 5.30 for sundowners and were shown to a table in the lounge. From then on in the service was impeccable a special...mention to our waitress Shenesia, who was delightful and worked her socks off all evening. The food was nice but not gourmet, that's beside the point, the decor, the views the atmosphere; the band all fabulous. Thank you QP for a great night!More

Felt let down by this place, a place that insists on a sizeable deposit when other high end restaurants on the Island do not. We booked this as the first lunch out of our holiday. The service was lovely - friendly and attentive. The setting...is stunning. We had the set menu. The main courses were not at all the quality you’d expect - one was just a massive Cornish pasty on a plate on it’s own, dry, dark brown and overcooked. My fish dish was very dry. My husband got a free drink when he pointed it out. My let down was further compounded by the absence of response when I replied to the e-mail the next day asking for feedback. We won’t be rushing back I’m afraid.More

Best all round night we had whilst in Barbados despite visiting most of the other high end restaurants on the Island. Key was the all round package - atmosphere, service, food and setting. Atmosphere was great/buzzing helped by the live music. The construct of the...restaurant, on multi levels looking out over the ocean is amazing. Food is very good, a more limited menu but to be expected of a bistro style restaurant as the name suggests. Fixed price menu gives you a lower price option. The separate bar area, with all seats overlooking the sea is perfect to watch the sunset. Definitely arrive early for drinks.More

Read a few negative reviews and felt we needed to add our positive experience. Greeted with a warm Bajan welcome, our table was fabulous with a great view of the sea, the band and whole restaurant, which is fabulous. Service, excellent from the food order...to the lovely Sommelier . An amazing band entertained us, wow!! The food overall was wonderful, not too impressed by the pea risotto and fish of the day but that was a personal choice. Great atmosphere, we loved it .. thank uMore

Awful the service is just the Pits sister hotel to the cliff thank god we went here first so we could cancel the cliff could not get a drink for love nor money we wanted to order some champagne to celebrate but getting a waiter...or waitress was like finding gold in a stream the place could be so good however the staff are just not interested in the customers they just want to wander around pretending to look busy, This must be the worst service in Barbados by a long wayMore
