The Crown & Anchor has become one of Eastbourne’s most exciting, up and coming pubs. Beautifully refurbished to an extremely high standard, The Crown & Anchor has something for everyone and to many it feels like a home from home. The pub offers you home-cooked meals every day thanks to our talented team in the kitchen and the friendly bar staff are on hand with a large selection of wines, spirits, lagers and ales. The entertainment comes thick and fast with live music every Friday and Saturday.

This is by far the best pub in Eastbourne.
Great food, clean and friendly.
It’s really close to the town centre but far enough away to be a good friendly local and just off the prom for a lovely lunch.

Had the worst experience in this pub. The management is not up to standard. Firstly had the manager come up to our table and put a reserved from 6 pm sine on it. I objected and said that we was intending to stay past that...More
We went there for a birthday, booking for 9 was easy, and they let us bring the cake in.
Food and drinks very good, nice staff. Very noisy because a football match was being broadcasted, but that's the typical British pub's atmosphere!
Great staff, really friendly, good food and drink and Katy keeps a lovely fire burning. We received a warm welcome and superb service throughout. This will be our place to go to when we are next in Eastbourne.
Popped in after a long walk, pub was very busy but managed to get two stools at the bar. Staff very friendly nice pint of John Smiths, did not eat but the food that came out looked very tasty and there were a lot of...More
