We have been coming here on our anniversary for 4 years as I met my partner here and it has great sentimental value for us. I'm afraid the food has gone downhill a bit, the first couple of years it was excellent and I was...More

Having reserved a table in the conservatory, it was a full 15 minutes before the waitress appeared. She took an order from an adjoing table, but refused to take even our drinks order, saying she had to go and deliver the first order. Was that...More

Went there with the family for Sunday Lunch. Very good value for money. Nice atmosphere. We sat in the conservatory. As a large group they never rushed us. Will be going back there again with friends.

Good food, good menu at a good price. What more can you ask? A great restaurant for all the family with a varied menu and an impressive specials board. I would certainly recommend a visit

Absolutely lovely pub, visited here on two separate weekends and liked it a lot both times. Service is friendly, interior comfy and the food is great and well priced. Banoffee pie is the best I have ever tasted and I would go back for that...More

Nice pub and food we had was very enjoyable. Traditional sort of decor, and not all ultra modern and plasticy

Great pub with good beer and food. Love the furniture and decor too! Better then the inner town pubs in Eastbourne.

Description
A traditional British pub serving a large home made menu, including daily specials and everything from a quick bite to eat to more substantial main course. A great selection of local real ales are available and have won us a place in CAMRA's Real Ale Guide 2012. Venture beyond the bar to our conservatory restaurant, looking out over our large terrace and garden where you can eat, drink and enjoy the unpredictable, yet wonderful Eastbourne sunshine.
