Stopped here on the off chance and what a great chance it was. Lovely atmosphere, great food served with a smile. Not on the cheap side but worth the money.

Love this place, can't believe I have only just found it. I had a fab lunch here with friends. Efficient and friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I went for the soup as I wanted something like and it was yummy!! Home made with crusty bread. The rest of the menu and my friends food look great! I will definitely... More

Great food and a good choice of local beers. Very cheap to drink in this little gem. Be warned the beef pie is so well packed and very filling, it is deceptively large even though it was served on a massive plate which gave the impression it was a small meal... Definitely return here great value for money.

What a great find! From the helpful girl on the phone when I booked to the efficient, smiley service and steaming hot delicious food quickly delivered - the whole experience was perfect. The roaring log fire in the bar was very welcoming but a we ate in the beautifully light restaurant. Definitely worth a visit but it was busy on... More

I can recommend this place for its atmosphere, superb range of hand drawn ales, and a menu that is both extensive and innovative. Loved the Beetroot soup with goats cheese balls in breadcrumb! All food orders have to be placed at the bar, and I would prefer it if someone took the order. But that's a minor complaint about what... More

Tried this quirky. Little place a few weeks ago, though we just couldn't get in as it was too busy. Finally managed to squeeze onto a shared table with two elderly Gentlemen, who, it turned out, had built the place 30+ years ago! We were not disappointed. The service at the bar and at the table was prompt, polite, efficient... More

We went between Christmas and New Year; it was very busy and we didn't have a booking, but they lovely waitresses squeezed us in. The place is an extended pub, looks small from the outside but lots of tables inside, small amount of outside seating for the North Wales summer. Great range of dishes on the menu, a decent number... The loaf has always been a favourite of mine. Extensive menu and good wine choice by the glass. Off for Sunday lunch again there tomorrow
