Stopped on the way back from snowden, fantastic curry sauce and yummy chips! We sat outside and headed back to the beach to eat. They had a gluten free menu to.

Been there before and had reasonably decent chips, last visit however was very poor, chips were soggy and poorly cooked and had the unwanted addition of some hair and what looked like a bit of pan scrub attached to two of the sorry looking chips - Pie was just lukewarm and more of a mice beef pie than a steak... Really good fish and chips. Curry sauce is old skool! The waiter was excellent, Chance is his name, couldn't have done more for us. It's a bit old skool but it tastes good and the service is excellent. Curry sauce #10/10

For the last three years, we have eaten at Barnacles while staying in Llandudno, the night before the Dragon motorcycle rally. The most recent visit was the best one to date. It's a no-frills café and takeaway, but with an unusual and extensive attempt to cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free, as well as providing a full range of café... More

Does what it says on the tin. Large menu, reasonably priced, the table service from the gentleman was very friendly and the food was all served piping hot. The decor does need an update and reduction of signage in the restaurant would help the overall look, but if you want/need a no nonsense good meal you wont go far wrong... More

We found this restaurant and takeaway at the far end of a long shopping street. The weather was inclement and we were glad to get out of the cold. We had fish and chips which were well cooked and tasty. We will visit again when in the area.

We were able to peruse the menu at our leisure. Prompt and pleasant service. Excellent choice. Hot fresh and tasty food, a great antidote to a stroll on a windy beach. Reasonable pricing. Not at all disappointed

Worst deco I've seen, ever. There is so many signs in this place that I'm wondering whether or not it's to distract you from the dull experience anybody must have at this chip shop cafe. A pleasant young lad but overall not impressed with the service. Nothing unique or different about this place it's really dated and needs a revamp.... More
