My fiance and I ordered a mixed starter (of 4 starters) for 2 people and the mixed platter for 2. Whilst the food we had was tasty, I wouldn't say the starter was for 2 people. We had 1 piece of halloumi, 1 small piece of sausage, the hummus kavurma and calamari. I would say we needed more than what was served, but, it was all very tasty!
The mixed platter for main was delightful.. the meat was cooked to perfection, we got some bread as well which was great. Overall, very satisfied on taste and flavour, just slightly disappointed on the quantity of starter. That may be because I'm greedy!! The price is also great for the taste and quality.

Ordered via Uber eats- delivery driver needed lots of help to find us but when it arrived it was delicious.
Calamari, sausage and halloumi and the feta and spinach starters filled by a lamb, chicken and vegetable kebab. Salads and bulgur were nicely seasoned and fresh.
Was a very flavourful meal and was a lovely change to India/Chinese.

Amazing pre-Town match vegetarian meze. Haven't been here for ages, and will definitely be back again soon. We just had a selection of starters and nothing disappointed. The bread had a subtle flavour of charcoal from the grill that was gorgeous.

We ordered a takeaway for 8 of us last night we spent £170.00 firstly it was 45 minutes late when arrived it was Luke warm and item s missing , chilli sauce and salad the chips were half the size as normal! I immediately phoned the restaurant and was told chef is very busy and offered cold starters I explained that that was nt an option so I was offered a mere £15 for salad and garlic sauce I said that I did nt think that was acceptable and we would like hot food ! again he said chef is very busy and they have run out of everything we ordered ! So why accept our order! He said regardless he would refund us £15 and hope we would nt complain! Obviously the refund has nt happened! It really did use to be very good but sadly there not coping with the take away side of the business and have now lost 8 customers! When ordering a take away the least you expect is it to be hot! I understand mistakes happen but it’s not the first time for us and feel that the business is not taking appropriate action to rectify there mistakes!
Be prepared if your ordering take away for the long wait missing items and Luke warm at best!

From a dining in experience- I Have only eaten in this restaurant once before but wasn’t impressed with the atmosphere or layout- seemed really sterile and bare for a Turkish restaurant.
The food has always been good- but ordering out has become a real nightmare recently. I’ve found they can be quite rude in the phone and not be straight with the wait times, and the salads are woeful
Positive news is it’s great traditional Turkish food cooked properly- lovely big portions which is why I keep coming back!
You really should not have to pay for a sauce when you made a big order though- with Indians you get free popodoms and Chinese free fortune cookies- here you get fleeced for some garlic sauce! It is delicious! Hope they sort out these couple

Takeaway order placed at 7.35pm and food arrived at 9.30pm. Totally unacceptable! We phoned the restaurant and was told that the delay was because of football traffic but the game ended 4.5 hours previously. Also, at 9pm he admitted the food had only left the restaurant 5 mins beforehand. The restaurant is only 1.5 miles from our house. Very poor and not happy with the experience. We paid a premium and were given second class service

Could have gone so much better! I ordered one of the BBQ plates but as I don’t eat lamb and can’t even stand the flavour, I’d ask to take it of my plate, the lady said no problem and that they’d instead give chicken xishe on its place… when my plate arrives all looked delicious as the starters were delicious too. But when I tried the meat it all tasted like lamb ( and I’d know this because I can’t take its flavour). I told the lady serving our table and didn’t even request to replace anything but she comes back saying that the chef says it’s impossible that the meat tasted like lamb (rude). Sure not taking the risk at that restaurant again.. not to mention that the table servant kept taking star out of the table when we had not even finished with the starters or anything yet..

This has always been my favourite Turkish restaurant in Ipswich but it appears to have changed hands as on the last visit there were different staff and they would not serve alcohol. They also refused us tap water. The food was fine but I won't be going back.

By far the best Turkish food in Ipswich! Me and my family have eaten in here a few times and had take out too, and we can honestly say we’ve never been disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and kind, it’s always been a warm welcome wether we eat in or take out. The food is outstanding! Super tasty food and you get a lot for your money! Worth every penny. Thanks so much for the brilliant service you you guys provide, through and through. 5 stars!

Booked a valentines table for 2, friendly staff, however as soon as we sat down we were asked what we would like to drink (not complaining), but we waited 35 minutes for our drink to come! The waitress was flustered, running around like a mad woman and made it very clear she was hating it, not very professional at all.
I am not sure if it was because it was very busy, but a 35 minute wait for our drinks is ridiculous, we were close to walking out.
FOOD quality was AMAZING though.

We ordered this as a take away, one of the things we chose was the mixed cold starter for two, this turned out to be a selection of dips so its a good job we ordered bread too!! We also ordered a veggie moussaka which was a very small portion. It isn't cheap at this restaurant o you would expect more food. We won't order from here again which is sad as what we did have was tasty.

The food here is good, we had lamb ribs, chicken in two ways and lamb kofte. Plus some humus as a starter. The bread was excellent with a lovely barbecue flavour. Portions were massive! Not a place for a romantic date, the decor is more takeaway than restaurant.

An array of very tasty and delicious food. Crispy and varied salads, fantastic tender lamb /chicken . Amazing Moussaka. Very good re a family member who had dairy allergy. Home made hummus, all packed separately so no soggy dishes. Very friendly and speedy service. Will definitely visit again when next near Ipswich ! Thank you

Been here several times. Always good food and a friendly atmosphere. This time we were seated upstairs, which is larger space but doesn't have quite the same feel.
For the first time we had a few problems... hair in the starter, asking for drinks multiple times and really slow service.
I can recommend the food, but if your upstairs make sure they don't forget about you!

Food was really authentic and I used to live in Turkey. The liver is to die for. Mezes are so good didn’t really need the main course! But everything was great, all freshly cooked and served with a smile.
