My Daughter suggested we go for dinner here as it a favourite of hers.. Lovely inside. Excellent service - especially Bernie. The staff were all smiles, helpful, and very good indeed. The food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't eat it all and left very full indeed. Best coffee I have had for ages too. I will be back for sure .........and I live miles away.

The service and food at Misya Meze & Grill last night was very enjoyable. I had the Starter meal for £24 which consisted of a huge starter of various dips and flat bread and main dish of lamb and chicken kebabs and a great salad. The restaurant had dividers between diners and wore gloves. As it was a birthday celebration and at the end the staff presented a lovely tiramisu with a candle and sang happy birthday. This was a lovely touch. Looking forward to going again soon. Thank you Misya Meze & Grill. 👍🏽

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been here, obviously COVID has got in the way but there were always so many other better value options for lunch and Misya didn’t seem to want to provide a cheaper set menu at lunchtime for a long time.
Well they do now and it was superb - we can’t eat as much as we used to but we really struggled to eat everything. We had falafel and a cold but absolutely delicious aubergine starter after we’d tried so hard to limit out pitta bread intake, the dips here are amazing. The only issue the whole menu was that the falafel was a little dry but it wasn’t enough to knock a mark off, just a heads up to the restaurant.
We both had chicken shish for main, the chicken was tasty and plentiful and we love the salad and rice accompaniment here. I’m very dubious about the review that said the chicken was raw, we’ve had it here many times and had no problems, I’m pretty sure the chefs here know exactly how long to cook it and as somebody who cooks a lot myself I’m also sure that the chicken is pre-cooked before it even goes on the grill.
The service was friendly and we love the Efes Draught (in a bottle) - it wasn’t very busy when we visited a couple of weeks ago but once the lunchtime menu becomes common knowledge and this blasted virus goes away, I would imagine packed tables. Keep it up Misya, at less than a ten minute walk from our house we’ll be joining you regularly.

Very disappointing visit. My wife and I took some friends for dinner and apart from getting some of the the drinks wrong they tried to pull the wool over our eyes to save a couple of pounds. At the end of the meal I asked for two cappuccino coffees and expressed that they came with no chocolate on the top. Yes they came with chocolate so I sent them back. I happened to be seated close to the coffee station and couldn’t believe my eyes when I witnessed the man making the coffee do no more than scrape the chocolate from the coffees I sent back and send them back to us as fresh coffee. Needles to say I complained to the manager who said “we won’t charge you for the coffee”. I paid the bill and we left without even so much as a piece of Turkish Delight or having had a coffee. We were offered some dessert which we refused but my concern is what else have the staff been told to do when things go wrong?

Went tonight (Tuesday 25th) with 2 friends we had a table booked for 7pm ordered a drink then a main meal each all of which were lovely when we had finished our main meal table was cleared and then the bill was presented to us which we hadn’t asked for we asked for the desert menu as my friends wanted a pudding and I wanted a coffee was told they weren’t doing a desert menu tonight as it was very busy..!! We paid the bill and were out of the door by 8.05pm..!! When my friend booked we were not told that there was no desert menu being served that night felt like they just wanted us out to get more people in you usually when you book restaurants you get at least two hours for a table. Shame as this has put me off booking again

We went for a birthday celebration and what a fantastic experience it was. I am gluten intolerant. The waiter struggled to explain the rice has noodles in it and disappeared. Straight away the matre de was over. He went through the whole menu and explained the dishes. He arranged for crudites instead of pitta for me and charmed the socks off all our party.
The food was really tasty, the place was packed but it still arrived in a reasonable time, hot and fresh in large quantities. It all looks so appetising. This was a Tuesday and the atmosphere is really lively even this early in the week. Definitely glad we booked, and really enjoyed the whole experience.

We chose the lunchtime special of "main course with a soft drink", which was just as well as we couldn't have managed a starter or dessert! We particularly enjoyed the Sea Bass with rice and salad and found the falafel to be also very tasty. The Falafel wrap with hummus and chips was excellent and very substantial. All for £7.95 per person - we shall definitely eat here again!

Went with 2 friends last week.
Absolutely NO social distancing, tables cramped together, no PPE, plastic menus (no scanning of menus available), no track and trace, staff opening bottles of drink for you. Staff not washing hands and touching everything. It’s like Covid never happened! But worse!!
Felt very uneasy in there to say the least.
The worst part was we were subjected to the staff repeatedly spraying a lynx type deodorant over their clothes IN THE ACTUAL RESTAURANT!! I could not believe what I was seeing. Less than 2 metres from us and on plain sight more than one staff member kept coming back, spraying himself and then taking off orders, as did the bar man. At least 6 times. This was at the top part where drinks were made and some food like breads etc. It’s not just unhygienic and wrong, it bloody stank and was so disgusting trying to eat with a mouthful of deodorant. I just don’t understand how they think this is ok? I wouldn’t spray deodorant at home next to my family as they are eating, so why in a bloody restaurant!! We eventually complained and they said it was hot and basically tired to give us alcohol, which we didn’t want!
They did take the discount for the government eat out initiative BUT added service charge! Which is cheeky as only 3 of us eating and they knew we had complained.
Never will I go there again and I would definitely avoid until they can follow the rules and stop spraying deodorant in the restaurant as people are eating!!

Dear Madam
I would like to apologise about your dining experience.
We have made additional adjustments through COVID-19 to ensure all customer’s safety.
Also all our staff have been trained by government safety plan full of knowledgeable.
We really take this period safety seriously during such a worrying time.
There were safety screens between each table.
Every table at least we have 1 mt. distance between eachother. However from the eat out help out scheme mon-tue-wed is extremely busy which we try to handle our best.
I would like you to give us an other chance another time to fix your dining experience.

After booking over the telephone the night before, me and my family looked forward to eating here, we turn up 5 minutes before we were due to our table and had to queue outside, we appreciated that it's a busy place and waited a few moments, after a while we asked a member of staff if our table had been reserved as we had not been made aware of whether or not the people queueing also had reservations or walk ins, they advised us that the queue also had reservations so he took our name and we went back to waiting, 15 minutes passed and the member of staff told us that he hadn't got our booking and it would be half an hour to get a table, we questioned it and thought as we had already waited then what would a further half an hour be. Another 10 minutes went by and then asked if we would like to wait at the bar and get a drink to which we accepted the offer. The only problem is that we didn't know that the bar here has a heavy flow of traffic from the staff, we were continually having to move around to let people pass etc until 1 waitress turned around to us and said, move, don't wait here! After being put here by a member of staff we certainly didn't expect to be spoken to as rudely as that!
Terrible service and wouldn't go back
We decided to attend another Turkish restaurant down the road who were very polite, equally busy but very attentive and helpful.

Went to the Misya last night with my Feed up Warm up family. There were 26 of us on two tables. We went for the meze menu for £24.95 per head. Food was a absolutely amazing and loads if it. Be prepared to take a doggy bag home 😀 Good choice of veggie and vegan food and the mixed kebab looked awsome even though I couldn't eat it. And my favourite beer, Efes. Staff couldn't do enough for us. We got treated like royalty. After the meal they brought out the most scrumptious baklava and some shots of Baileys and pink Gin and later on they gave us all a glass of wine each. This restaurant has supported Feed up Warm up for the last year delivering free food for our clients every week. So far they have donated over 1,500 meals so if you decide to go for a Turkish meal please choose Misya. Thankyou Misya. Will definitely be back with my partner 🧡🧡🧡

Visited for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We were a table of 6. The table was ready for us upon arrival and immediately the waiter came to take our orders for drinks.
Very comprehensive menu with all you would expect from a Turkish restaurant, plus some specials including pasta fish and vegetarian options. We opted for a selection of hot and cold starters all of which were delicious. To follow we ordered a variety of dishes from the grill, all very good and no complaints. The staff all very helpful and when one found out i was my birthday they presented me with a dessert with a firework candle which was nice. The manager then told us we were all being offered liquers on the house, Another nice touch. We will most definately be returning.

After travelling from Staffordshire for the weekend we were looking forward to visiting Misya Meze and Grill as we had not been to a Turkish restaurant before and we were not disappointed.
A slight mix up with our booking over email was soon sorted and we were shown to a table on the first floor. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. After checking the menu and drinks some olives quickly appeared followed by a salad and flatbread to share. We ordered main courses and five of us had different meals.
When the meals arrived the portions were generous and so tasty. I had the beef shish and it was so tender and really well cooked and presented. Everyone finished their meals and agreed that it was an excellent meal. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and proved that they are interested in the restaurant business.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we will return when visiting the area again. Well done.

Recently we discovered this restaurant, and we are absolutely satisfied with the food. The meat was juicy and very tasty. The staff was very kind as well , they always made sure that we have everything we need on the table, and always asking us if everything was ok with the food or if we need anything else. I would recommend to everyone who love turkish food. Everything was perfect, me and my husband enjoyed a lot. Definitely soon we’ll meet again. Thanks x

Had a really good meal at Misya, the meat was so tender i'm still thinking about it, especially the mixed grill (number 44). We made a booking, stood outside until brought in due to covid restrictions and were ushered to a seat that was separated from the next table by a plastic pull up screen, good to see measures in place, felt quite safe. The place was quite busy so the food took a little while to come out but once it did it was really worth it, the service was friendly and we enjoyed every minute there. Very good value for money between monday-wednesday now with the govt incentives. Worth a try!
