How is Pulcinella rated?

Been here a couple of times. Staff are great as is the service. Food is generally very good, though some of the pizzas are a bit heavy on the mozzarella and not enough tomato sauce for my liking. Not the cheapest but has a very...good atmosphere and ambience. Usually very busy so may need to book.More

First time visit, we will return

First time visit, will definitely return. We popped in yesterday evening had starters followed by pizza, pasta, chips and a bottle of house wine. Service and food were excellent and the ambience was great. Although it was very busy, the service was efficient and friendly....I'd recommend trying here if you haven't been before.More

NICE PLACE , but,,,,,

First visit here , sent e.mail booking , but none recieved ,did get a table .6-15 on Sat eve. Nice place/ atmosphere ,very nice staff , Little bit cramped though. We both had chicken , 1 with Doleselate & one with French mustard / brandy,...We both thought being honest the chicken wasn't brilliant , the doleselate sauce was better than the the other , mine just tasted of very strong garlic , & repeated on me for the rest of the evening. Nice bottle of Montepechano , the only thing i wasnt 100% happy about was a service charge ( for one course ! ) I had that taken off . Would go again, but not in a hurry.More

Excellent Italian restaurant

Pizza was delicious.Nice environment with very friendly & professional staff. I enjoyed the lunch.I certainly going again.Highly recommended!

Family day out

Disappointing

I don't know if there's a new /different chef on duty but it is the first time I have been disappointed with a meal from here. All 3 dishes were inedible. The prawn cocktail used very obviously frozen prawns which were chewy, made the dish...watery and were flavourless. The bruschetta was incredibly disappointing and covered in dry oregano instead of the fresh basil advertised, had one very small sliver of onion, soggy bread and past their best mushy tomatoes. The calamari was limp, soggy and on a bed of soggy, wilted hot lettuce. Very disappointed.More

Wonderful Italian meal.

Fabulous impromptu meal with friends. Wonderful food and great service. Relaxed atmosphere and very attentive, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and good menu choices.

Authentic Italian, in food and atmosphere

Celebrated my daughters birthday. Food was great, the staff fantastic and the Atmosphere was excellent. Nothing too much trouble. The place was packed which says it all. Loved it.

First time, amazing!

First time visit with our friends and kids, so two families and kids. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty and delish… everything you would hope from an Italian local😆. The food was of high quality and served in generous portions👍, loved by young and oldies🙄....For sure, our new go to local Italian👌.More

Good food!

Very good food. Excellent service. The lighting is very bright which is not conducive to a relaxing evening. A few candles maybe?

A tasty early evening meal.

I booked via the website and received confirmation quickly. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and offered the window table. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food came quickly and was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to our...next visit already.More

Excellent Italian

We have been here to eat quite a few times recently, both on our own and with friends. What a superb find. Friendly service, great food and a lovely relaxed anbience. Love their Carbonara and the Spaghetti Vingole is the best. We'll be back again...very soon! Good idea to book though. Understandably they do get busy!More
