Lee and Chris are so friendly, helpful and wonderful cooks. The breakfast bircher is so good we now come back every week. The other clients are infused with their friendliness so it's like greeting old friends as you enter. The 16th century flagstones give the...More

I often go to the Courtyard tea rooms, either for lunch or just a coffee, especially when the weather's dry & can sit outside! Inside is tiny but the owners are so helpful if I take my mum in a wheelchair. It's a bit of...More

We took recommendations from other trip advisor reviews and went to this beautiful tea room yesterday. It was a lovely end to a fab holiday. Would recommend to anyone . I have a lovely afternoon tea. Sandwiches, 3 small homemade cakes, scone, jam and cream...More

Not really impressed with the place the 3 of us stopped at for coffee. It was served promptly and with no fuss but the taste was very weak and not as it should have been. To be honest, the milk tasted off. We ended up...More

Thanks for your review. It does seem very strange that in over 3 years here at the Tearooms, not one person has had anything negative to say about our coffee (or even our milk!), and yet we receive 3 negative reviews from all in your...More

Myself and a couple of girlfriends pooped in for a quick coffee here. It;s very dark and dingy going in, but we sat down and ordered some coffees, mine a latte. Sitting on a wobbly chair didn't help the place and the coffee was very,...More

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately we do have to cope with wobbly chairs, an uneven floor and a 'dingy' corridor as our entrance and Parlour area are 16th century. This is why we are quirky. We do have chair and table wedges to correct this...More

Lovely tea rooms. Excellent scones, Dorset apple cake, and tea loaf. Super selection of teas, and warm friendly service. Went in recently for the best afternoon tea, and have been back again for morning tea and cake.

We didn't have afternoon tea but the table next to us did and I'm sure they booked it. Better to ring them as they are a very small but lovely place and they do turn people away. Hope this helps.

Sorry I have been away on holiday. The Tearooms do a lovely take away service, cakes, scones and just about anything else that you may like to order. Including lunch.

Hi. We have gluten free brownies and sometimes a second cake too. Also gluten free crumpets, fruited tea loaf, and gluten free bread. We do not have gluten free scones. We look forward to your visit.
