Great beer in an old traditional pub-great welcome and service. Unfortunately food let it down a little bit. Tasty but small starters, the fish pie was (small) tasty -served with a disappointing small spoonful of salad and small piece of bread.

It was a dark stormy night and we were grateful for the warmth of this cosy pub on the quayside. The food was substantial. We tried catfish and gurnard for the first time and enjoyed both.
The home-baked bread was wonderful! Puddings -old-fashioned and filling.
