...had one of the best pints of Timothy Taylor's Landlord in years in here, sat in the upstairs part which dates to 1350. And they also give 20% discount to lifeboat crew...what's not to like

Stopped in here purely by chance whilst caught in heavy rain. Had a very good pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord and sat in the upstairs whilst marvelling at the 700 year old interior.

This is one of the oldest pubs in Poole and boasts a medieval banqueting hall where they have live music at weekends. They food is good but the Sunday Carvery is yummy..all homemade and generous portions..oh the beer is good too

Popped in for a drink as it was really cold outside. Lovely pub and was very quiet at 11am. Loved there wifi welcoming me back even though I've never been there before! Will probably have a meal next time as the menu looked excellent?

We went on a Sunday evening for a meal. Very helpful staff. Very cosy old fashioned pub. Food was good & plentiful. There was also a good selection of ciders and ales.
