About
We serve fabulous homemade food, locally sourced where we can. Our menu will change with availability of fresh ingredients and we offer a small select wine list and bar. We are set in an historic Grade II listed Tudor building which was once owned by a wealthy merchant, Thomas Byngley, who became Mayor of Poole in 1555, hence our name. The painted ceiling in our dining room is noteworthy and believed to have been painted c.1830.
