Went to this Italian last night with family and was quite disappointed with the food. I asked for a medium rib eye and received a very rare steak instead. How you can get that wrong is beyond me. The shock was the bill; very expensive for what we had. On the plus side, the owner, and staff, were very friendly... More

What a great evening we had at Da Vincis. From the time of arriving we was made to feel welcome and only had to wait a few minutes until we was taken to our table. Service was excellent. We ordered our food after it being recommended we weren't disappointed absolutely delicious well presented and good portion sizes. We had the... More

We chose Da Vinci on Poole Quay for my company social evening, having visited before as a couple, and used the Magicard promotion. We were seated upstairs for the first time and really liked this, it was more spacious than downstairs, and it links to their Gin Bar next door. On the owner's recommendation we started with italian "tapas" which... More

Strolled along Poole Quay and noticed this inviting looking italian restaurant. The menu outside promised fresh local produce and home cooking. Soon we were inside sat at a sunny table by the window with a spectacular view of the harbour. My wife chose saltimbocca alla romano and I ordered the tortolloni Sofia Loren. The staff were friendly and helpful and... More

Very good service from a variety of staff who were on duty - everyone seemed to be looking out for ways to assist and make the meal enjoyable. Lovely food, well presented. We particularly enjoyed the gnocchi, cannelloni and creme caramel - and their coffee is good too (says my husband who is a very stern coffee critic). It is... More

The food is shockingly overpriced. Even with 30% off voucher this was still poor value for the money. The mushroom starter was dry and tasteless and the camembert was luke warm and poorly presented. The mains were ok but almost £15 for an ok pizza....seriously! Service was mixed. The younger guys were friendly and attentive. The older guy was rude... More

We visit Da Vinci's at least once month, never disappointed. The food is prepared and cooked by an Italian family in the best way, with love and heart. There is no Italian restaurant that compares that we have found up to now. Baked alaska....wow!

DELICIOUS! I recommend this dish and have never been disappointed choosing mainly fish specials. This one looked beautiful as well. No idea how I had room for Tiramisu, but then it was extremely good too. Definitely come here and try these. The setting is lovely and feels traditionally Italian.
