We arrived without a booking to a full buzzing restaurant. We were welcomed by warm smiles and given a great table. The food and wine was amazing, the presentation only surpassed by the taste. It was such a pleasure, and the staff were universally attentive,...pleasant and attended to our every need despite the fact the place was full. Well done team we will be back. Just see the photographs and be sure to visit. Charcuterie Starter and Seafood Linguine, house speciality.More

We popped in to this restaurant whilst visiting the Seafood Fayre. They had a nice outside seating area by the quayside for drinks only. We ordered 2 Pinot Grigio which came to just under £20.00! I didn’t realise I was in New York! Apparently they...make a service charge to walk the drink to you - outrageous! And the wine was not good quality. I’m unable to comment on their food but if this experience is anything to go by I wouldn’t bother!More

Ate at this restaurant last night and was very disappointed with the food . Ordered the Lasagne which was bland really bland …. asked the waiter his recommendation for dessert and he recommended the Lemon cannoli ……. What a mistake that was ….. it was...inedible …… dont waste your money in this over priced restaurant , there are plenty of Italian restaurants in Poole so avoid an expensive mistake and eat elsewhereMore

We have been to this restaurant before and it was ok. However this time my main course which was a Calzone was stone cold. The staff did do me another one but this shouldn't happen. We then order a Cannoli for desert which unfortunately was...very old and tired and had to be sent back. Overall disappointing.More

Thought we had spotted a new restaurant recently by seeing a large flame heater in a side road but discovered it was the back of Da Vinci’s. That night we had drinks only but booked for the following Saturday evening. Staff were great & food...very good. The music & singing later in the evening was also a delight although maybe you could cover people sitting outside & perhaps a little longer as a few people did get up to dance & clap. It was a wonderful evening and we will be back soon. Thanks to all xx Sue & Ray xxMore

Not sure if this restaurant has changed hands, but the experience a few days ago was totally different than the last time I was back home in Poole and we went there for a family meal. Unfortunately based on this experience we won't be back....The service was pretty poor, possibly this was down to it being very busy, but then surely the management should control the number of bookings. Some staff were a bit loud and personally I thought bordering on rude. At one stage when ordering drinks, they brought a coke bottle with the cap still on and left it on the table. The food prices I would say have gone up by 20% but quality hasn't improved, if anything they are a lot worse than I remember. The desserts are all £7.99, I had tiramisu and it was honestly the worst I have ever eaten anywhere, it was basically sponge with cream and cocoa dust, it was very dry and lacking taste. My partner had the sicilian cannolo, she was served one and it was apparent this like all the desserts were pre-plated and stored in the fridge, the crispy casing was soggy and the cream filling was very stiff and lacking any taste. Drinks are very expensive, I would say they have put these up by about 40%. The final insult was the addition of a 10% service charge, which for our party of seven was about £33. I can never see any justification for adding service charges automatically, it should always be earned and in this case it wasn't and we won't be back, there are plenty of other far better restaurants in Poole!!!More

Booked this when my parents came to visit from the Midlands. Restaurant was very small and it felt like we were all crammed in. Staff were both very attentive and not attentive at all - were constantly refilling drinks from bottles of water on the...table but then got my mother's order completely wrong meaning she had to wait for 20 minutes while we all ate our food. The food was nice but the quality did not reflect the high prices charged. My boyfriend did not have a starter and the server pointed to his stomach and asked if my boyfriend was on a diet, in hindsight this was quite rude.More

Checked reviews prior to booking and looked forward to eating here however very disappointed with meal. Would rate the food as average. We felt there were too many diners for the staff to cover on the night so service not great but staff very cheerful.
