Everything spot on, obviously they have geared everything up for their market and execute it flawlessly. A Friday night in January and the place was packed speaks volumes. Menu straight forward, reasonably priced, service friendly and approachable, decor not pretentious and functional, great to see a good mix between bar trade and restaurant trade, loos checked regularly, know their market and caters to them exceptionally well.

We made an impromptu visit for just a drink, but ordered food when we saw the menu. The cod was giant, beautifully presented, flaky & creamy texture & too much to eat as we had to leave some. It was tremendous value at £19.90 for 2 for such giant plates. The server was the only person EVER in our experience to ask if the piped music was too loud for us. A lovely visit & meal which will be repeated soon. The food was cooked by Ped & we were served by Kelly (we personally thanked them both).

Came for date lunch (eotho) Bank Holiday Monday. Service quick and curtious. Hand sanitizer available at the door. Dom came over quickly and asked for out drink order and then upon delivering them asked for our food order. Ordered food it arrives promptly and boy was it good. I order the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Other half had the whole rack of ribs they were tender tons of meat and he says best ribs he's ever had.. drinks a little expensive but you do indeed get what you pay for. Will definitely visit again! Recommend to anyone that wants to visit, family and dog friendly. Althogether Excellent experience.

We use this place a lot and usually have good service but this time was a disaster. We had pre booked a table for six people. We arrived on time to find that our table was not reserved. We managed to get a table then waited nearly an hour for our food and when served one of the meals was missing. This arrived as most people had finished eating. We were offered a 10% reduction on the meal that was delivered late. This did not cover our disappointment and we will not be returning.

Booked on a Wednesday evening, first time out for many months but it failed to meet the mark. Our table was booked for 7.30pm but we didnt get served until nearly 9pm. This seemed due to two tables of 15 people - which obviously overwhelmed the kitchen. Our meal was OK, but due to the close proximity of the people attending the bar to pay for their meals individually, we felt our safety compromised. Social distancing was impossible in those circumstances. I understand that the Brewers needs punters, but surely they need to ensure people stick to the giidelines? Waiting staff should inform guests to stay seated, then their payment will be taken at the table. If this is a taste of things to come, I shant be going out again any time soon!

Went out with friends for a birthday dinner just the 4 of us and have been here before and always struggled to get good service. Low and behold yet again they let us down again. Wouldn’t make an espresso martini only sold in a can, lady said that’s the way this company is doing it, it was terrible and expensive. Sat inside for dinner where it was cold had to ask to move. Asked for 2 portions of crusty bread and olives bread was virtually stale and not crusty and fell apart not tasty either. My mate asked for double portion of fries with his chicken and he got less than my normal portion and they looked like the bottom of the frier basket too. My second drink of vodka had no ice and was warm we asked for salt and the waiter seemed angry as I watched him back and forth and he seemed like he didn’t even want to be there he slammed the salt down. All of us noticed. At this point he have not complained my mate just asked to bring more chips. My wife and I both had cherry bakewell cheesecake these and nearly £6. Hers didn’t even come with the butter biscuit base, whoever served that onto a plate knew that it was still left with the main cake how do you not see that mine was dried up and was pretty awful. We asked to move because it was cold so from their point we had the chase the chips and replace the cheese cake and move us not a sign of helping out with the bill we were polite and typically British but enough is enough things are hard for everyone right now and pubs want and need us to dine out but service like this is totally unacceptable we will never eat here again. To add they ignored the social guidelines and were making us queue at the bar.

Just visited a kitchen and brew for the first time. Not impressed due to the following. 1. Persons being seated after we dined were instructed to use a code for 25% off their bill. This was never communicated to us and the flyer on all the other tables was not on ours. 2. Ordered half chicken and found the two parts were significantly different in quality. The leg was moist as expected from this style of cooking but the breast was very dry. Not sure how they are cooking their produce but not the standard I expect from description and style. 3. This is not my first experience of this style of cooking having sampled a great whole chicken in Las Vegas several years ago. Main reason for coming in was the micro-brewery. Just as writing this asked to move due to a previous booking. We chose to leave.

We visited the Brewhouse & Kitchen whilst staying nearby at the Travelodge. Although we hadn’t made a booking we were quickly seated on a table for two near to the kitchen which was interesting to see the chefs at work and what other food was coming out.. The printed menu covered not only the food available, but all the beers/ciders on offer to. Which is a positive not having to go to the bar to look at what is available. With the pub brewing their own beer onsite there is a large selection to choose from. We both had a main mean each during our visit, which came quickly after ordering, with the Sunday Roast in particular being a highlight. We also tried a number of different beers which were all good. The final bill was reasonable value for money for the food and drink we’d had and we were happy to have made the choice to visit and would definitely return. The only minor point we noted was that we was never asked for any track & trace details during our visit. One of the only pubs during our holiday not to ask on arrival.

The restaurant was full of people with only 1 bartender, 1 waitress and 1 manager who wasn’t allowed to leave the door. We were left waiting ages for our food, which when it turned up was very poor. Some food overcooked, some food undercooked. Kids meal were completely inedible. Some meals didn’t arrive and had to be chased up. We had to ask for the bill 3 times and wait nearly half an hour for it. Not the staff in the restaurants fault as they were completely overworked and apologetic however head office had taken far too many bookings for the staff to handle. I wouldn’t eat at this restaurant again, at least during the next few months whilst they are reopening after lockdown. Even if I were too, the food was poor!

A really pleasant experience ! I went there with friends for a birthday and when I saw the menu I expected to be served overcooked grilled food. I was wrong. I had padron peppers, burnt ends and calamari for starters and all really nice and cooked well. Then a chicken burger and chips for main, and the chips were well cooked and not undercooked like most places. Then the beer list tops it all, some great IPA’s and beers. This place is a real gem and worth a visit

On arrival manager was friendly, took details for track and trace, recommended a burger and swiftly showed us out the back to the quirky garden. Went back down to bar after a quick glance and decided on the mac and cheese. When ordering, the girl behind the counter took table number. As paying individually I asked if the someone could communicate to the kitchen we'd be making our orders in quick succession and could they pause till all3 orders were in, having worked in kitchens this is a common occurrence, the blonde haired manager at the end of the bar flatly said no. Didn't compromise, kept shaking her head stating it was policy. Saying no over and over again until eventually she dissapeared. I found this hard to believe and felt she didn't want to walk to the kitchen. Its a simple request from what would have been one order from three people, not difficult if you're experienced. I went outside to explain the situation to friends where we decided to just have a drink instead,on returning to bar I was then made to wait 11 mins to get a drink in an empty bar, a trainee bar member said if more people visited they'd employ more people. The bar was EMPTY. Shocking experience, hopefully I can visit another one, one day because without even trying the food its a big fat NO from me.

Having had a bad experience before Christmas, service bad, food cold and felt expensive we complained to the manager. We were offered a complimentary meal and drinks which we only managed to take this week re Covid etc. Such a difference! Staff attentive and helpful. Food beautifully cooked and hot. Not everything in stock but maybe their delivery day. Didn’t matter. Good range on menu. No wait for food not like time before! Would certainly return. This was how a meal out should be. Manager please take notice.

Looked this place up on Trip adviser and read some mixed reviews recently but was pleasantly surprised on our visit. Took a little trip to poole. Booked a table for 4 for me and the family, on arrival it was hot and we were given the choice to sit outside or indoors we chose outside then was offered the Beach Hut, which was a nice touch. They took the drinks order and I was asked if I wanted to check the beers out at the bar as there was an extensive selection our waitress wasn’t wrong, Wow!! Went for the berry Cider in the end very nice. Food arrived in good time our choices were Beer Can Chicken (so succulent) Gammon & Eggs (very Impressed) Beer battered cod (Golden white flakes of fish & great Tarter Sauce) Ribs (fell of the bone) service was great was checked on to make sure everything was ok. Whilst eating our dinners we kept seeing this orange bowl being brought out with fruit and couldn’t wait for our dessert. As we had seen so many of these desserts coming out it would have been rude not to order one for us all to share. Beer infused chocolate fondu, very different in a good way something I would recommend. All in all, a very good evening spent with my family. Thanks to the server that served us (sorry didn’t get your name) not really a big beer drinker but loads of choice if you’re in to ale or beers they have a massive choice. In difficult times a really good evening out, really enjoyed by my family. Thanks guys👍

Really poor experience. Food dreadful, staff although pleasant, not capable and disinterested. Ordered an apérol spritz which tasted nothing like an Aperol spritz. Ordered a bottle of rose that came room temperature but in an ice bucket - Not good enough at £25 a bottle. The food was slow to arrive and came out at such different times that no one was eating together. I had the chicken burger which was just dreadful. Less gourmet burger, more McDonald’s 99p offering. Limp, poorly cooked and barely warm. The group agreed that the food all tasted like it had been (barely) warmed up to order. They forgot one order completely so it arrived 20 minutes after everyone else. The staff weren’t particularly apologetic about any of the above and the general impression I had was that they just didn’t care. Shame as I’ve visited the Bournemouth brew house and it was a different experience.
