Nice size fish with a good portion of chips. The rice puddfing was also very good. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will pay a visit again soon. Can highly recommend.

Always a good choice for fish and chips. Pensioners portion is ample as you can have a starter or a sweet or peas etc choice.Bread and butter and tea or coffee. Service very friendly. Fish beautiful, chips were too. Had rice pudding with a touch of jam. All served piping hot as it should be.

Delicious fish, fresh and perfectly cooked, absolutely delightful meal, served by a lovely waitress, didn't catch her name but she was extremely pleasant to be served by, not overly expensive either, which is a benefit. A little bit of a drive for us to get to, but completely worth it.

Seems fish are now growing 2 tails!! Ask for a fish and get 2 tails stuck together. Always thought fish tails were made into fish cakes. Third time this has happened in last 12 months so not a one off.

I first discovered this place 15 years ago and have never failed to be impressed on my regular visits since, the restaurant is always spotless, comfortable, friendly ,attentive staff, large portions of freshly cooked , perfect fish and chips and a bottomless pot of tea, fine dining at burger bar prices.

Come here two or three times a year. Good value, well cooked (as you like it), and as good as you can get in my opinion.

Me and my family visit regularly on our way from Leeds to Sheffield. The best chip shop for miles (much better than the Wetherby Whaler).

We usually call in to the Wetherby Whaler when we fancy fish and chips but last week as we drove past the Kingfisher we decided to give it a try. Parking can be tricky as the carpark is only small and the roads on both sides of the restaurant are very busy. Once inside we were quickly shown to a... More

We mostly use as a takeaway as they are THE best fish and chips for miles around. If you want to eat in they also have a lovely relaxing restaurant next door with fantastic staff on hand, the choice is yours!
