I really love the food at this lovely little pub, but today left me feeling a little underwhelmed, although I opted for the light menu by having the ploughman’s lunch I didn’t expect for £13 to only get a tiny breadboard with two pits of...different cheeses some ham and a boiled egg. All as you would expect, but it only came with a tiny ramekin of piccalilli half a pickled onion, and two slices of bread, not whole slices, so no salad, no apple, no tomato, no onion no accomplishments, as expected from a normal traditional Ploughman’s lunch. I asked for a small side salad 🥗 in the end which was a tiny bowl of salad leaves 🤷♀️ such a shame 😌More
