Had lunch here with friends. Good home made burgers and top class chips. Beer range and quality excellent. Service and ambience delightful. Parking a bit of a problem but worth the hassle.

Went here with 11 friends for something to eat and drink had a fantastic evening. I had the 16 oz t-bone which I would highly recommend it was amazing. Everyone that went said there food was great and the staff were really friendly and efficient which made for a great evening with good friends. I would defiantly go back in... More

This is the 3rd visit to the ring of bells since Christmas and we have not been disappointed on any of our visits. Food is excellent and prices are fair. It's an honest pub, serving honest food and it isn't trying to be anything it's not. Good range of ales too.

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch with the family. Lovely warm welcome and service and probably the best roast potatoes I have had in a long time. Will be going again

We have been meaning to try this place for a long time and a rare free Saturday night came up so we booked a table. The only table left was 6.30pm which is always a good sign. We booked the table and got there early for a beer as they have a range of micro-brewery beers from a local brewery.... More

This restaurant had been recommended to us by friends but when I saw the outside, I certainly had doubts as to whether it was really my kind of place. The interior is much more comfortable and relaxing. The day's specials, cauliflower soup and pigeon and peach sausages sounded interesting but we chose from the excellent menu. The £9 main courses... With the anticipation of 140oz of meat ( ordered in advance) the Ring of Bells had a lot to live up. Never have I been nervous before a meal. With that in mind the staff, atmosphere and food all prevailed in what can only be described as a sensory spectacle. The two 70oz steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the... More

I confess we only had drinks one Saturday afternoon but were given a very warm welcome; a bowl of water was provided for our dog and the landlord was helpful, polite and knowledgable about the drinks offering. All in all, the perfect pub experience.

What a welcoming place! We were visiting friends in Taunton who introduced us to this pub. The landlord was extremely welcoming, as was the atmosphere, a local pub that did not make us feel like we weren't local. As we had hangovers we opted for the burgers and they were just what the doctor ordered! A thoroughly recommend a visit... More
