I was shocked to see the bad review someone gave The Cricketers recently as it's a very good pub and restaurant with fabulous food. Never ever had a problem. In fact, it's one of our faves! Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I visited this pub today with my family looking for somewhere nice to spend the afternoon but was greatly disappointed. The owner is an extremely grumpy old man who made us feel very unwelcome. I would never visit here again. Very unfriendly atmosphere.More

We met the family here on a Sunday evening. Staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. I highly recommended the Carvery. Enough on one plate to easily feed two people!
