I'm always a little hesitant about eating alone but it was lovely in here, like sitting in your own front room-if only you lived in 40's. Nice welcome, friendly staff and delicious egg and cress sandwich, along with lovely coffee. Will definitely recommend!

Now I'll be honest, yes I did know the prices of the food before choosing to go in and order, however I thought that I would receive some pretty nice sandwiches (this is what I had chosen) for the price. I was already paying more...More

We were in Colchester for a graduation ceremony and needed a bite to eat for brunch. Came across Jacquelines. What a truly delightful tea room. Full of charm and really nostalgic atmosphere created by the vintage furniture, crockery and background music. And the eggs benedict...More

Great tea, sandwiches and quiche. As a "sconnoisseur" I was very disappointed with the scone that came with the afternoon tea. For that price I would expect something homemade with Tiptree jam. Suggest you visit honey and Harvey cafe in Woodbridge, Suffolk to see why...More
