Mam and I met for lunch. Was very nice. Service was good, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We both enjoyed our lunch and will be back

Warm welcome along with good, prompt and friendly service. The restaurant was packed which is hardly surprising as our meals were excellent.

Excellent staff, excellent food, central location. Fish is thick and battered to perfection with delicious none greasy chips. You can also have a grilled version and the salad is fresh with home made coleslaw. There are other things on the menu like the most delicious deep filled steak pie which takes 3 days to make so no wonder its so... More

Excellent value fish & chips. There is a special option where a pot of tea is included. The fish was fresh and well-prepared with the right batter being used. The Fryery offers a far better meal than some of the more expensive restaurants in town. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Fresh and tasty. Young staff keen and professional and focused. Popular with the locals.

Needed light lunch, called into this restaurant, two young girls serving, very pleasant and efficient put two tables together to accommodate us. We had small fish and chips, thankfully, as I saw normal portion and wow! looked good but would have been to much for us, best we've tried for a while, obviously freshly cooked. Would certainly recommend.

Really good fish. Nice batter and good curry sauce. You cannot have a fish & chips and bad curry. Well this place delivers.

Every time we call into Carlisle if we have chance we call into The Fryery, the food is fresh cooked and of a high standard and the staff are very friendly and professional and at the end they always offer you a thank you for going in and dinning which gives it that personal touch and makes you want to...
