Oh, the crispy batter! The battered fish is delicious, a lovely light batter and succulent fish. I rarely try anything other than the fish, but am sure everything else will be at the same level; I haven't heard any complaints - totally addictive!

Visit here often and have to say never disappointed and the staff are great as always, love the steak pie and the fish is nice and chunky. The chips are never greasy and side salads are fresh with delicious coleslaw.

Warm welcome along with good, prompt and friendly service. The restaurant was packed which is hardly surprising as our meals were excellent.

Excellent staff, excellent food, central location. Fish is thick and battered to perfection with delicious none greasy chips. You can also have a grilled version and the salad is fresh with home made coleslaw. There are other things on the menu like the most delicious deep filled steak pie which takes 3 days to make so no wonder its so... More
