Table chips

Great food and service, good atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Staff couldn't do enough for the group of 8. Don't forget to order some chips for the table 👍

Delicious, fabulous, bustling and cheerful authentic family Italian

We stopped over in Carlisle and found this unexpected gem, Gianni’s. We had a fab time listening to the music and enjoying the eclectic decor. We were so pleased the food was fabulous, I chose Verdi pizza which was packed with vegetables artichoke hearts plentiful...! Partner chose spaghetti Marinara extremely nice. We were lucky walk ins because it was busy and deservedly so.More

I love

Staff are ever so friendly, food is made very well and the price is just perfect. By far my favorite Italian restaurant, I’ve bean multiple times with different people, the restaurant never fails to impress

It's alright.

Stopped here on our way home from Scotland, food was OK, service alright and the ambiance wasn't too bad. Price was good, I'll give them that.

Catch up with friends

Not been here in over 20 years . Was a favourite back then and pleased to say just as lovely now. Fantastic food service and atmosphere at great prices.

Great food and great service

Great service great food. We were a table of 8 we had booked and we were shown to a table upstairs . We were quickly served drinks and orders taken I shared the Calamori the would have been too much for 1 person they were...Beautiful and crisp with garlic mayo . We all enjoyed our main all beautifully cooked. The sea bass was great with roasted veg a lovely evening out ! Will definitely return and recommend .More

Superb Find

What can I say about this hidden gem, down from Scotland for an overnight, food and service was amazing. The staff were superb and friendly the food was incredible. Next time in Carlisle it will be our first destination. Fantastic food and great value for...money.More

Best restaurant in Carlisle!

Came to Giannis for Valentine’s Day this year, the atmosphere and food were absolutely beautiful as usual. Staff are kind and make you feel very welcome. Definitely the best restaurant in Carlisle!

Lovely Italian

Great visit, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent throughout and the staff were so friendly, we had a great experience, thank you. Would en great if you could add a draught beer or serve beer in a big bottle. A small...bottle of 330ml beer doesn't last long and is not great value for money compared to a pint or big bottle and it would be less work for your waiters as they wouldn't be bothered as much for refills. Keep up the great work on every other front and see you again!More

Lovely Food

We ate here Saturday night and from arriving we were made very welcome the staff were all really nice and friendly.we had booked for 5pm when they opened and it was really busy but we didn't wait long for our food and it was excellent,we...have eaten here a few times and it's always very good, I would highly recommend and we will be back.More

Cosy little Italian restaurant

What a lovely little place! Found it when looking on Google for somewhere to eat before going to a show at The Sands, and we'll definitely go back. Lovely atmosphere, friendly owners, great service and delicious garlic pizza, chicken griglia, and tiramisu
