Fantastic staff, friendly and efficient. Lovely menu and generous portions. I loved the dressing on the salad ... I would definately eat there again

Visited with my family. Found it to be good but rather expensive for what we ordered. Small tables and it was on the chilly side too. Don’t want to feel like I need to leave my coat on. The service was very good though.
I often pass and have never decided to have lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were absolutely massive and tasted pretty good. I would happily return for a lunch time.
Visited whilst staying with friends. Met by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and despite waiting much longer than the supposed five minutes for one of our party to arrive she remained patient and friendly. When it came to ordering some items unavailable...to be fair it was late on. Our order came no problem other than I got French fries not chips others had chips so don't know why and unfairness I didn't ask. Overall a enjoyable meal. Bit overpriced for what we had but acceptable.More
Visited for lunch with my daughter, despite walking past at least 2 staff members we were not greeted at all, we found a table ourselves and sat and waited, and waited we were early for lunch and the only table waiting to be served, eventually...a waitress came but took an order from another table first!! We had by this time waited for around 10 minutes. Eventually a waitress came to our table and asked ‘have you ordered yet?’ Surely this is something you should know as you are taking the orders?? We ordered our food and drinks, I had to go and ask for a clean glass as there was lipstick left on my glass!! And our food arrived shortly afterwards, it was ok nothing other than ok, expensive for what it was not much filling in my wrap and not a lot of flavour except that of the mountains of lettuce, not much halloumi and far too much onion in the ‘salad’ coleslaw was very nice, chips were overcooked and dry. All in all I won’t say I would at all rush back I was rather disappointed this time. No one came to ask if everything was ok with food and was not asked when I went to pay just told how much it was not even a please or thank you!More
This cafe is centrality located . Parking is okay if you have a disabled disc and their is a space.. I was very disappointed to find no cakes available for vegans or people with dairy intolerance like myself..
This little gem does one of the nicest cappuccinos in Carlisle. The staff are polite, knowledgeable & always acknowledge my children as well as the adults. The food is divine & fresh & the place is spotless. It has some of the cleanest facilities in...Carlisle. Perfect for brunch!More
Went for breakfast with teenage granddaughter. She ordered full English I ordered bacon sandwich. Good service, but food poor to awful. I returned my bacon sandwich as very pale and some fat not cooked. I had cut one half in 2 . The staff took...it away and brought it back 5 mins later totally unchanged. They hadn’t even bothered to cover this up as nothing had moved on the plate. Granddaughter ate most of her full English to be fair. Paid in full but no tip ,More
Had the best afternoon tea with ever had would highly recommend trying it .Will definitely be getting it again .
Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff. Food was amazing and excellent value for money. Will definitely be back for another visit soon.
Credit where credit is due- the food wasn’t bad! Bread was soft, chips nicely cooked and side salad dressing was tasty. Staff were helpful and covid procedures were clear and being upheld. BUT... £1.95 for some black currant cordial and tap water is a bit...of p-take. Value for money wasn’t good at all. Generally I would expect to be charged around 50p for cordial for the kids but I wouldn’t even be bothered had it been a pound but this was ridiculous. Sort it out!More
I was looking for somewhere that offered a takeaway afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. I came across Celebrations on Facebook and the pictures showed a fantastic spread and I liked the choice of either standard afternoon tea, Prosecco afternoon tea or G & Afternoon T!...Ordering was quick and easy and Sonya was very accommodating in what surely was an incredibly busy period. The boxes looked lovely and were decorated with a rose which was a lovely touch. The food though, that was the star of the show! It all tasted so fresh and homemade and there was more than plenty and the price point was ideal!More
Lovely bright, clean, slick cafe where we had a lovely brunch. Good menu, would recommend. Good attention to social distancing for Covid.
Lovely, clean little restaurant within a crafty shop in the centre of Carlisle. The menu is varied and reasonably priced and there are specials every day. Staff were friendly and helpful and place was spacious. Food was hot and very tasty and the coffee was...great. Only slight criticism was that it was quite cold in the place. However - would still recommend.More
Always had lovely soup and scones. Homemade chips are fab and the coffee is great. I visit her every time I am in Carlisle.
