I found this pub fun to be in, however I do say the lunch menu is very small and nothing too exciting, just sandwiches and small bites. I had a jacket with cheese, the portion size was fair, I was quite disappointed with the taste, as it was two small jackets with grated cheese, some of it was a bit... More

Despite being in the next village, my trips to this excellent pub are rare, but when I do go, I love it! Not many proper pubs left, but this is one of them, a real centre of the community boozer with great ales on tap, always lively and friendly! On a quiet backstreet in a small village near to the... Tucked away behind the main high street sits this quaint little pub. Delicious food available at lunchtime. Wholesome, quality cooking and delicious soups and sandwiches Home of excellent beers and sat around 2 log burners. Full of character and a pleasant change from modern pubs

I'll keep it short and simple; if you want to find a proper English pub then look no further. Just off the A6 a few miles outside Bedford. Excellent local beers - well kept - friendly service and decent and well priced pub grub - not Gastro but that's not relevant here. One of my top 5 pubs in Bedfordshire.

What can i say ,, it's a good pub with good well kept beers Friendly atmosphere ,, everybody is willing to chat . There are always two or three guest beers and each week there's another one to try ; different flavours and strengths to suit different pallets . The car park's a bit 'snug' but Clophills a nice place... More

This is an old style proper country pub which is a free house. Nice clean loos. Really good home cooked pub grub, nothing special just hearty and homemade and good prices. Absolutely buzzing with locals, but also very welcoming to incomers (albeit in a sometimes wry, but inoffensive to us way). Dogs very welcome and given treats. We will definitely... More
