Lovely welcome, and able to accommodate our party of 7. We had a variety of meals from the menu, the children's platter was good quality, although the menu was a bit too adventurous for my daughter but the staff were happy to accommodate her request for a plain ham and mozzarella panini. The only downside for me was the lack... More

A real find - lovely homemade soup to start followed by house salad and deerstalker pie :). Yummy - just what we needed and pretty unexpected

Lovely location, sat outside enjoyed alfresco dinning. Food was lovely, fresh and very tasty. Staff were so friendly. Gluten free options available and the apricot and coconut cake was delicious.

We noticed that this cafe advertised lunch-time food to take away. As it was a lovely day we thought it would be nice to sit on the green and eat. So we ordered sandwiches from the menu and indicated this was to take out. As our order was being taken however the supervisor intervened very curtly and refused us this... More

Nice place to have a pie for lunch. Don't go for the surf and turf because you get quite little for the amount the amount they charge. Pies are the way to go in this restaurant.

Stopped off here for a coffee and cakes, really impressed. If we hadn't already eaten would have loved to have stayed for a bite. The coffee and Bakewell tart I had were great. It was very busy but we were taking away so didn't mind and guessed it was busy because it is good! The menu looked lovely. If we're... More

My husband and I had breakfast in Rock Salt and Snails two days in a row. It was so good that we have to come back, the very next day. The moment you enter the cafe you are welcome by a smile of a sweet and slender lady. We started with a latte and americano... delicious coffee. It has the... More

Went there with family for a quick refreshment. Very nice cakes etc. Tea pot provided a lot of cups of tea! It is dog-friendly too which was a bonus for us as we had the dog with us. Nice staff. Good service. Will return.
