Full English cooked to perfection and precisely Tommy instructions - bacon slightly well done, extra sausage, no tomato. Staff couldn't be friendlier, or more accommodating. Recommended stop on the way to the airport.

I called in for lunch with three friends, all in our sixties. The food was good and not expensive. However, and looking at other reviews, they seem confused over what time they close up. Our request for more tea at 2.30pm was met with a refusal due to the imminent closure of the kitchen!! No wonder only one other table... More

I took my daughter here as an after school treat, thinking we would support local independent businesses rather than the bigger Booths and Costa options. We ordered a drink and my daughter picked a pink cupcake. I didn't order anything as the selection was so limited and the place looked closed. We got a knife and had to hack at... More

Called in for a late lunch. Staff very friendly - lovely Asian girl, who said we could order from the breakfast or lunch menu. I had a tasty Moroccan spiced chicken wrap, my wife had the Lancashire rarebit and my daughter the brie, bacon & cranberry panini. All were delicious and generous portions. Also my latte was exceptional. Cannot understand... More

Visited this cafe for lunch today and loved it! We chose a selection of different foods from rarebit to paninis and chicken wraps and every bit was delicious! We loved the homemade caramelised chutney!!! A little haven with friendly charming staff and excellent service! A great change from the costa next door! We can't wait to come back and bring... More

I just walked in at 3.20 ( sign says closes at 4 ) . I was completely ignored at first even though the place was empty. When I was eventually greeted I enquired as to whether they were still serving food . The lady behind the counter said yes of course whilst the rude belligerent man promptly said no the... More

We called them at 1pm and asked what time they were open to today as it was sunday. Was told 4pm so we got there at 2.45 and sat down to order. Three misarable asain girls seemed to be running it and one came over and took our order but then told us they close at 3.30pm. I questioned this... More

Stayed overnight at the Bulls head and came here for breakfast. Seriously the best eggs benedict I have ever had. Amazing. Very friendly and welcoming, great food and good prices.

The first thing that drew us to this cafe was that it was open for breakfast at 8am on a Saturday morning, when all the other eateries for miles around don't open until 9am, 9.30 or even 10am. We were welcomed enthusiastically at this early hour, and the service continue used to be pleasant and efficient. There were a number... More
