We came on a Groupon voucher and have been before. What can i say other than amazing. The beef was to die for, perfectly done and so tender, plus you got a glass of wine or prosecco with your meal. The waitresses where so attentive...More
Known of this establishment for 30 odd years, used to be a nice old English pub.
We visited for just a quick drink. The unit has been updated and looks nice, small intimate restaurant, which looks nice, guess you had to book.

Visited lunchtime on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday with the family. As ever, an excellent meal, beautifully cooked and presented. Friendly staff, lovely ambiance. The menu includes some French classics, a rare find in Mid Herts.
Lovely country restaurant, relaxing evening and decided to have the five course tasting menu. Right choice, food was excellent, presentation and service very good. Wine 🍷 choice very nice. Will be going back.
Went the Waggoners with family and it was very good. This was my second visit. The portions were reasonable, cooked very well. My only criticism is the sourness of the red fruits used in the apple crumble, makes it difficult to enjoy.
I have been a customer here for many years now and after a recent visit I felt compelled to write a review.
It’s very rare to find a place like this these days.

Lunch due to being in the area. Great find. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic - soup to start and then lamb. All for a reasonable price. Don't live in the area, but will definitely be going back if I am in the area again.
