We came on a Groupon voucher and have been before. What can i say other than amazing. The beef was to die for, perfectly done and so tender, plus you got a glass of wine or prosecco with your meal. The waitresses where so attentive...More

Known of this establishment for 30 odd years, used to be a nice old English pub. We visited for just a quick drink. The unit has been updated and looks nice, small intimate restaurant, which looks nice, guess you had to book. We had one...More

Visited lunchtime on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday with the family. As ever, an excellent meal, beautifully cooked and presented. Friendly staff, lovely ambiance. The menu includes some French classics, a rare find in Mid Herts.

Went the Waggoners with family and it was very good. This was my second visit. The portions were reasonable, cooked very well. My only criticism is the sourness of the red fruits used in the apple crumble, makes it difficult to enjoy.

I booked a table for my Grandmothers birthday as this used to be her favourite restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed, and my grandmother was up all night being sick. The food options were limited, the service was rushed, poor and inattentive, and the food...More

The lack of care and service was really disappointing. Wet table, not wiped, vegetables arrived at end of our main course, no apology and meal generally non-descript. We have eaten many times in previous years, but feel the attitude of manager, chef and staff was...More

Lunch due to being in the area. Great find. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic - soup to start and then lamb. All for a reasonable price. Don't live in the area, but will definitely be going back if I am in the area again.

I would agree with the other answers. Not being a vegetarian of any degree, I have not enquired. However, the staff have been extremely helpful when my guest did have a dietary restriction.
