What an INCREDIBLE takeaway

I ordered from PTI from Deliveroo: the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious ! I do not have any complaints and will continue to keep ordering from here.

Fantastic place, would recommend.

We hired the function room at the pear tree inn for a christening celebration and it was perfect. Darshan who arranged the event and organised everything was great, the bar staff were friendly, and Indian style buffet lunch provided was delish. An Indian Oasis of Indian Food in Welwyn Garden City.

I eaten here a few times now because my friends said this is the best Asian restaurant in Welwyn Garden City. Ittakes a special place to impress my friend who is Asian, an excellent cook and vegan. This is a go to place. The Team...make you feel welcome, explain if you need help in what to order. The food is just 'excellent' in the words of my Indian Friend. If you cannot finish your meal you can take it home and enjoy it later. Looking forward to my next visit NMMore

Celebrating a birthday

Proper Indian!

Amazing meal!!

This is my second time to visit Pear Tree Inn and it never disappoints. The food was amazing. For starters we had meat samosas, veg pakora and Salt and pepper prawn which is delicious. The butter chicken is delicious. Sometimes Indian cuisine can be quite...sweet but here it is so tasty. 2 of our group chose the sizzling sharing platter which came out on a hot plate sizzling. It consisted of Salmon, prawns and cod done in Indian spices with veg underneath. It was amazing. The staff are very attentive and helpful. We were sat in the bar which was nice and comfortable and not too noisy. They do lovely cocktails that are reasonably priced too. We ordered way too much food and the staff were more than happy to box it up for us to takeaway. While we were there there was a 50th birthday on in the function room next door. It is definitely a great place for any function like birthday or celebration. Highly recommended!More

Unique Indian Food

Dined in once, had takeaway a few times. Not your standard Indian with neon red, overly sweetened "Tikka Masala" - instead you have a selection of interesting street food options that are quite rare to find in the area. I've tried most items and not...found a bad one yet - the curries are good, but the smaller plates are the real draw. Recommend the mogu and chilli chicken in particular, although be warned they pack a punch. Excellent flavours. The restaurant itself is your standard pub, but service is good. Bit pricey but thoroughly recommend.More

Mother’s Day Meal

Was a pleasure to visit after recommendations from friends and hearing really good things about the pub. Service was amazing, really friendly and helpful staff members and the food was genuinely really nice, authentic Indian food with flavour and spice which is hard to find...around Hertfordshire area. Credit to them for also going the extra mile for providing a complimentary dessert for Mother’s Day. Would definitely recommend!More

Classic pub with fantastic Indian food

Have been here many times since moving to the area and it’s great. A classic old school pub with a pool table and darts board, but with a great modern beer selection which are all decently priced. The food here is incredible. Can’t help get...something whenever we come for drinks. The mixed tandoori platter is particularly good!More
