We were looking for some late lunch while in Sidmouth and stopped off at the Someday Something. The service was so good which is rare these days and anything we asked for was no trouble for them. I had an iced coffee which was the...best I have had for some time and the toasted tuna sandwich was really tasty. My wife had the sweet potato with salad which again was lovely. We also shared a cream team and there was plenty of jam and clotted cream and the scone was lovely and warm and fresh... This is a local business that you want to support as they offer great food and offer attentive service which you rarely get these days.More

I've had coffee here numerous times but yesterday was the first time I've had lunch.I have to say the food was exceptional , I had the fully loaded salad that was so full of flavour and the rest of my family had toasties or cheese...scones The coffee was smooth and hot and the best I've had anywhere in Sidmouth The staff are friendly, polite and highly efficient who appear to genuinely interested that you had a good experience. My family who were visiting can't wait to go again and try the cakes. It was a lovely relaxing highly enjoyable meal and I thoroughly recommend it.More

We only called in here on the off chance for something to eat. What a surprise. The scones area best described as heavenly served with the cream and jam along with very decent tea. The scones are made by the owners and once had a...return visit is inevitable. The other food also looks exquisite. The staff are great with excellent service skills.More

This has to be the best tea room in Sidmouth , and I’ve tried a lot of them. Whether you want breakfast , mid morning coffee , lunch or afternoon team it’s the place to go. The food is amazing, without doubt the best scones...in town. The drinks menu is varied with options for everyone including an additional alcoholic tipple or two. The girls who run it are so lovely , happy , smiley and chatty . I really cannot praise Someday Something enough.More

Found by chance, had the best cream tea, unusual and delicious date scones. All four of us loved it. Really good flat white coffee too. Will definitely recommend to friends and visit again. Staff were really nice and helpful to accommodate 4 people with a...little shuffling of chairs.More

Had a lovely cream tea here, swapped tea for coffee for 2 of our party and also served peppermint tea for another, with no problems at all. The cream tea itself was delicious! After initial disappointment that they had run out of plain scones which...was our preference, as not a lover of sultanas, we were informed that the scones had dates in, which were beautiful, both huge and light. Served with lashings of cream and jam and we were told that if we needed any more(we didn’t) just ask, it’s no problem. Overall, a lovely experience.More

We visited for a late lunch and sat outside. Our table was quickly prepared and we were warmly welcomed. Tea and toasties. Beautifully presented and delicious. But it’s the staff who make it. Couldn’t be more friendly.

The cream tea was absolutely delicious. A gigantic, pillowy fruit scone with a mountain of clotted cream and lashings of strawberry jam served on a floral china plate with a matching cup and saucer. The ladies at Someday Something very kindly let me have a...cream tea as a very last order at 4pm, and it didn’t disappoint. I’d highly recommend a visit, but do get there in time: it’s a very popular place (although they do do takeaway cream teas, which is an excellent Next Best Thing). I agree with my fellow reviewers, this really is the best cream tea in Sidmouth!More

Whilst in Sidmouth we wanted to stop somewhere for a coffee and snack so asked a shop assistant for recommendations rather than just trying somewhere we were unsure of. We were really pleased we asked as this is a gem that we wouldn’t have found...otherwise. Lovely polite staff and definitely a popular place with tourists and locals alike. I would definitely recommend the chocolate milkshake it was delicious. We will be returning next time we are in Devon.More
