My partner booked this restaurant for my Birthday as we live locally but had somehow never been, despite hearing lots of glowing reviews about the food. The menu had a fantastic choice of pasta, pizza, meat and veggie dishes including some amazing seafood options and special. I opted for the fig salad for starter and a lobster ravioli for main both were cooked and presented very well. My sisters and partner had a wide variety of dishes from pizzas and traditional pastas to the calamari and scallops and all the table were pleasantly impressed with the quality and flavours of all the dishes. They ambience was nice and relaxing the restaurant is small with a traditional Italian style, a good choice of wines, beers, gins and cocktails. The waiting on and bar staff were both welcoming and friendly and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you

Our 1st visit to Tuscany too did not disappoint. We were made welcome immediately by a really lovely young woman, she was so attentive and made us feel like we were regular customers (which we probably will be now) we were brought a tasty bruschetta which was el gratis. From then on we enjoyed every morsal of food we were served with, we all apart from 1 had a starter, all were smashing, we all opted for either sirloin or fillet steak, i asked for medium rare with a mushroom, white wine, tomato, asparagus and cream sauce, my steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce to die for. None of us could fit in a pud but i had a cognac to end my beautiful meal. The restaurant was at capacity, the waiting staff of which there were only 2 of were professional and attentive at all times. I actually can't wait to return and I'm angry at myself we hadn't eaten there sooner. Well done guys you should be so proud of yourselves xxx

Chose to call in at Scarborough for dinner on the way home from a day out. Used Google and found this place and it was a good choice. £50 for a family of 4 with drinks. We shared a starter of garlic bread which was nice, plus they brought us each a gratis tomato bruschetta, which was good too. Mushroom risotto was a very good main as was the spaghetti puttanesca. Service was friendly and attentive and COVID procedures seemed sound.

Attended the restaurant this evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday having made a phone booking a few weeks ago. We were advised we could have the table at 6.00pm but would have to vacate by 8.00pm as there was another booking following us. 2 hours seemed more than reasonable. Having arrived just before 06.00pm, we were quickly seated, given menus and asked if we wanted drinks. Assuming a reduction in the menu due to Covid-19, we ordered two beers as no offer of wine was made. After we had started our drinks we noticed other tables being given the choice of a wine menu. Thanks for the presumption we wouldn’t be bothered. The starter and main course were amazing and could no be faulted. Me wife is a vegetarian and thoroughly relished the choices available, so top marks here. We finished our main courses at about 7.10pm looking forward to a sweet and a coffee. After 30 minutes or so we were finally offered the menu and advised they could do ‘something quick’ so we could rush the pudding and coffee in less than 15 minutes. In the end we declined rather than being put under pressure, paid our bill and left feeling really disappointed as it was meant to be a special night. Our conclusion is top marks for the food we had which really could not be faulted. However, the experience was marred by poor service and basic etiquette. The staff were very busy looking after larger groups of people who appeared to be regulars. Unfortunately our little group of two seemed unimportant.

We managed to get the last available table on Tuesday night at 9pm. We were surprised at how busy it was for a Tuesday night away from the resort centre but once we experienced the service and food we could easily see why. An impromptu Karaoke session by some other guests rounded the evening off nicely as the guy really could sing. Do yourself a favour if you are going to stay in Scarborough and go here for a meal BUT I would recommend calling ahead to book.

We have been coming to Tuscany Too for over 8 years (it was our first date here) and unfortunately lately the service has not been up to standard. We have struggled for months to get booked in but did for 5.30pm. We arrived at 5.26 pm and the door was closed - not very welcoming! Then, we were offered 2 tables, to sit at and chose one that sadly, was next to the window and was very draughty. I enquired what pasta 'oriental' was and the owner/waitress said that she didn't know and that it wasn't really oriental! When it came, it was very watery and tasteless (not like other dishes we have had) and I only had 2 mouthfuls and left the rest. My husband's risotto also was not very creamy. The waitress who then took our plates away asked if we enjoyed it, to which I replied no (she could see that I had hardly eaten any!) but never made a comment other than that she would tell the chef. The whole service was very rushed and not very attentive, yet when a table of what must have been regulars were seated, the waitress/owner had plenty of time to speak and laugh with them. It really has put us off going again and I left very hungry!

Took a punt on Tuscany Too as it was close by to our accommodation so neither of us had to drive or use a taxi. We knew it was a risky endeavour, the reviews online are to both extremes but thought let's give the benefit of the doubt that was stirring inside. So off to their website, not much there biggest omission was no online menus, personally I like to see what I can order and typical costs so it's not a big surprise when I sit down, plus my partner is a nightmare for chasing so that would give them the time to ponder beforehand. Again it was close by so benefit of the doubt. We rang to book, during their opening hours, answer machine, they would call back. They did the next day so duly booked up for the following evening. Took a wander to their restaurant during the day in the hope for a menu in the window, disappointed there! So to the evening, arrived, walked in and no acknowledgement for a few minutes as we stood around like spare parts. Then a member of staff came across and said they just had to clear a table, so a few minutes later we were seated. Perused the comprehensive menu and wine list and placed the order, for the meals, wine and some water. So by now 30 minutes had passed and some complimentary Bruschetta arrived, nice. Though I found it difficult to eat as my mouth felt like the Sahara desert. Forty five minutes after arriving, the first course arrived, looked really nice substantial, had to ask for the wine and water again as still not arrived. Now faced with a dilema, wait for wine/water and let the food go cold or eat, we chose to eat, good move as it was a further 7 minutes before the wine arrived, also asked for the water again. Main courses duly arrived and after the 3 asking for water it eventually arrived, over an hour after arriving, so disappointing. Well the meal was finished, and wine finished off and asked for the bill ........ eventually gave up on it and went to the bar and asked again. Totted up the bill and presented with it, there I was stood with card in hand at the bar and ready to pay the moment it appeared. It was as though I had turned into the invisible person, what seemed like an eternity but was only a couple of minutes the bar person must have thought, they are stood there, bill in one hand and card in the other they must want to pay. Hell yes I did! Paid up, no tip given, and left. Walking away back home we both said, should have listened to that doubt. So the food was fine and plentiful, thanks for that. The service was dire, there were 2 staff on duty front of house that we could see as from what you can see above either woefully inadequate or just need a healthy dose of up-skilling to hone their delivery, not only for the customers benefit but that of the owners too; over 45 minutes to wait to get a drink is a day one what not to do error! Would I go again? No I wouldn't. Would I recommend, for the food yes, but for the service surrounding the dining experience no, I would make that clear to anyone to make their own mind up.

We booked this Restaurant well in advance on the recommendation of our Hotel. This was good advice as they were fully booked last night! We were greeted with a warm welcome and were given ample time to study the Menu without feeling rushed! The Menu was extensive, They even have a "Grappa Menu". The food was all freshly cooked and well presented. We left feeling that we had value for money after a very pleasant Meal and Drinks. We will definitely visit again if in Scarborough and would highly recommend .

Had a very lovely meal here during our recent stay in Scarborough. The complimentary bruschetta was very tasty and fresh, and our mains and dessert were delicious also. Have to say though that the goats cheese and fig starter was absolutely fantastic! So, so tasty and definitely the start of the meal! The staff were all friendly and attentive even though it was super busy during our visit. Will definitely be visiting again when we are next in Scarborough!

Had a meal here on our last night in Scarborough you can only book by ringing which is a shame but having said that it was busy for a Monday night. We were served bruchetta on the house whilst we waited for our meals, my husband had Calazone and I had monkfish linguine which we both enjoyed, the service was good but the waitress favoured her regulars, I dont have a problem with that on the whole. The only problem was it was a windy evening and where we were seated got the full brunt every time someone came in or left went home to warm up.

To cut a long story short the food was fantastic, had a lovely meal with every course very tasty and well cooked. Slightly slow clearing the mains and asking if we wanted dessert (well they didn't ask we had to ask them for the menu actually) but it was very busy. Overall we had a lovely meal here and it was just across the road from our hotel (the Cordelia which I'd recommend if looking for accommodation) which was very convenient. Recommended

We finally decided to give it a try after reading the slightly mixed reviews. The food was nice although we had the main course special we thought it was a bit overpriced. The staff were really nice although busy [short staffed?] the service was still good. Wine reasonably priced. Will return sometime.

Lovely little Italian restaurant and our ‘go to’ when we are in town. Courteous waiters and excellent menu of fresh food prepared / cooked ‘properly’ and to order. Goats cheese & fig salad; Buffalo Caprese ~ beautiful mozzarella; Ricotta and Sonics Ravioli and my favorite pizza....Calzone! Decent bottle of Gavi all at a sensible price and a lovely ambience - well done Angelo for creating a consistence of quality quite rare these days.

I could only give three stars for this restaurant. The food is superb. Gorgeous flavours well present, just the service let the place down. There was only one person in the restaurant upon arrival, two serving, who saw us arrive, but, did not acknowledge us. They carried on ignoring us until eventually telling us to sit by the window. Still only one other person in restaurant it took a long time before menus were handed out, then once again it took quite a while before our order was taken. As I said, food is superb no fault whatsoever with that. After meal was consumed, I asked for the bill. That took a very long time. When it did, we were ignored once again. By this time, the place was filling up, we we’re getting fed up. Just to be clear, we were pleasant and courteous, as we always are. Luckily, we had cash, left it on table and just walked out with no tip, (although I can say the tip is, please have better service). Summing up, this is the worst service we have had in many a year around the world and it’s a shame it’s right on our doorstep. Hope you improve, as your food is the best.

This is a deservedly popular restaurant and we were made very welcome and enjoyed great food and drink. We'd be happy to visit again. Make sure you book, it's not large and there seem to be lots of regulars.
