pub grub at its best. very friendly staff, food served hot and in good time. We where 4 adults and 1 child 6 year old and a dog. Will go back next time we are in Scarborough, Thank you.

Little gem in amongst the rest. Try this cafe/bar out and you will be in for a nice surprise. Good quick service, tasty food and drink. A cut above the rest on the sea front.

Greeted to a lovely waitress and ordered our drinks and food, food was a big portion and have to say it was very nice! Lasagne and beef baguette was a success 🙌

Good old English Pub Grub. Typically lighting not so good and a little cramped. However the food was great and friendly service. Really nice place to hang out and get out of the rain as we reunited and visited with our cousin.

Food was very good, especially the kids meals, extremely nice inside and out but the stand out feature was the staff. Considering it was the end of the summer holidays and I'm sure these people are exhausted and fed up with with holiday makers and...kids, they made us feel like family and like they genuinely enjoyed serving us. Price was great too. We paid more for an inferior meal just a few doors down. Highly recommendedMore

All I wanted was to sit down for a quiet drink, look at the menu and maybe I’d order something to eat if I was impressed. Is this too much to ask for? Especially when the pub was literally empty and there was only 1...other couple eating. However the aggressive pushy waitresses managed to make this far more awkward and difficult than it needs to be. I couldn’t pay the barman at the bar but somehow I could the waitress as she walked over to the bar. And then ruining the customers experience by not giving me the choice of where I want to sit down with my drink, insisting I sit at another table and then tell me 1 minute later that the table I chose to sit at was magically reserved (despite it being early evening and the pubs empty). When I told the waitress I’m now only staying for 1 quick drink, the waitress replied she had to “prepare the table”, I looked around and none of the tables were prepared in any way, they were all empty and clean. Just what did she have to do? It’s the staffs blatant lies, dishonesty and lack of integrity from the minute I walked in to when I inevitably walked out in disbelief, that ruins this place. Fortunately Scarborough is not short of alternative pubs that gladly accepts customers.More

Very nice staff. We were made to feel very welcome. Tea was very nice. I thought the manager was excellent and was very customer focussed. The waitresses were very polite and efficient. We sat outside and really enjoyed the experience.
