Great atmosphere- proper pub and really good food. Staff friendly and there is always something going on quizzes, live music.🎶

As a family, we now use The Ibex as our “local”. Whenever we have a family get-together, this is where we go - saves on the cooking and washing-up at home! All tastes are catered for - we have vegetarians in our family and their...choices on the menu are as tasty as those for the meat-eaters. The menu is varied, some spicey dishes like the Hoisin Pork dish that my husband really enjoyed. Garlic prawns starter also went down well. Range of beers and cider was much appreciated, as well as the awesome Roast Dinners - yorkie were enormous! Atmosphere is always friendly and warm, Nathan is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent too! What’s not to love? 🥰More

Such a lovely friendly country pub with outstanding food at a fair price! We have been a few times now and will certainly keep coming back, the tapas night was brilliant!

I decided to go local and organise my best friends baby shower at the Ibex. It is already well known for their amazing quality food and atmosphere but gosh did they go above and beyond! I asked for a brunch with a mocktail per person...and gosh they blew it out of the water. The food: Absolutely amazing, no surprise there - the quality and amount were just so so good! I couldn't believe how much food was served and the variety as well! We were served a welcome drink each plus our mocktail which just added so much more to the experience for everything. They were so delicious, I had to ask how it was made! The pub: I was allowed in early to decorate how I wanted, we discussed in advance what I could use to attach the decorations to the walls and ceilings but nothing was too big of an ask when talking with Nathan! We had constant communication starting with a general chat about the event and booking it in, to the organising and executing! The Ibex made my friends baby shower/brunch the best it could have been and I highly recommend them for anyone who are thinking of planning an event who want amazing food and a quality experience!More

Visited The Ibex for an overnight stay with our 2 dogs. Excellent accommodation, stayed for dinner and breakfast the following morning, both value for money and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and the dogs could go everywhere and were just as welcome. Will definitely be...back !More

This pub has a nice, country feel to it. Nestled in a pretty village, it appears to be a bit of a ‘best kept secret.’ It’s not professing to be ‘posh’, but is absolutely better than an average village pub that serves food. In some...ways, the tables and chairs, and the decor looks a bit basic and outdated; but, the food completely makes up for that and it also has benches outside, which in good weather, is a boon. The owner is very passionate about the pub having a friendly feel to it and for people to feel welcome. The staff are approachable, personable and knowledgeable, and have a nice balance of attentiveness vs giving one time to enjoy the ambience. The food sits at a price point that nods to quality, but that doesn’t price some people out of affording to eat there. The food is delicious, carefully and ethically sourced, and the menu has interesting choices. They seem to have quite a following and are well known in the area. The roasts are some of the best you will have; the meat particularly standing out. Well cooked, as well as being very tasty cuts. Would recommend this pub for families or couples; and seems to be popular too for just popping in for a pint. They have an extensive wine list too, with many glass-priced options, too. Very nice owners, who go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming and want to create an above average experience for their punters. Definitely worth a visit!More

First time we have visited the Ibex in several years, and loved it. Food was excellent and portions ample. It's quite modern inside with a relaxed, village atmosphere. Lots of locals there with their well-behaved dogs, always a good sign. Prices very reasonable especially for...that quality of food. Highly recommended.More

Great place, nice owner, who likes Belgian beer. It was excellent food, great choice, good wine and Beers.

Visited Friday 21st July for the quiz and we ate before , well I had the ribs and chips and there was plenty of ribs to feed a family and the daughter had The Ibex burger which was also very nice !

Just wanted to leave a quick review to say what a lovely roast dinner we had at the Ibex today. I'm pretty fussy when it comes to roasts and most i've experienced out have a few things that let them down. This definitely wasn't the...case at the Ibex though. Such wonderful flavours and presentation. The service was also really great and the pub had such a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back.More

We stayed several nights and enjoyed everything. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. The smoked haddock with poached eggs was particularly tasty.
