Lovely menu friendly staff well worth a visit. Chocolate mousse delicious as was the mulled wine. The vegetables were almost raw however the staff took the feedback very well. It would not put us off going again at all.

Good transport links make the Fox an ideal place to meet in this area. Its actual position is a quiet village offering the chance to really enjoy an array of well cooked food with friends or relatives. I welcome going to a family owned pub,...devoid of the trappings of large commercial enterprises. Good beer (and samples!) and you will feel at home if home-made pies are your delicacy! Three of us enjoyed an excellent meal - medallions of fillet beef - and drinks/coffee. Staff really could not have been more attentive, service was prompt, the ambience was lovely. A thoroughly enjoyable visit we'll repeat.

Excellent service . Pleased to be offered a table even though we were just at the end of the advertised serving time. The pie and curry we had were both very tasty and we were even to pudding.

We met up with friends for dinner here as a half way choice . We found the staff friendly and very efficient,. We all chose different dishes from the menu and none of us were disappointed with our choice...what better compliment to the chef is...four clean plates! We arrived to a warm welcome on a freezing cold night at the Fox, lovely cosy atmosphere. Couldn’t fault the service from all the staff, helpful and responsive. The entrees and mains were all very tasty and generous proportions too. All in all a really...good experience and would highly recommend it.More
