Just popped in one afternoon for a couple of pints and a little bash at a crossword from the newspaper. Very quiet but young lady behind the bar was very pleasant and served me a couple of tasty pints with a smile.

Our visit to the "Quay Inn" was quite unintended as we had been advised to try "The Ship Aground". Although unusually quiet on arrival (around 7.00 pm ) more customers arrived during our meal to help lift the ambience. The quality of the food, service...More

Yes I remember you , you were the gentleman who wanted me to stop serving my other customers because you felt you were too important to pay for a parking ticket! Not all custom is good custom and an unreasonable, demanding, customer who thinks my...More

Visited for lunch, sat outside as a warm day and ordered at bar. Seemed a little on expensive side but when received was excellent value as fresh, home made and generous portions

Our first visit. Pub was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Staff were friendly. The food was excellent...all three courses! The duck breast was superb! Desserts were huge couldn't finish the pavalova. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Thank you so much for your positive comments. I have passed them on to our Chef, who has been doing a great job. It means so much when customers show their appreciation of his hard work. Hope we will see you again. Best wishes Collette

The Quay Inn - where everyone is most welcome. We delight in offering the best, locally sourced, quality, foods and real ales at reasonable prices. The menu changes with the seasons. We also LOVE MUSIC! Quay Roots at the Quay Inn, frequently presents local, national and international music acts. The next event will present Cam Penner and Jon Wood from Canada, on Halloween night. We also host regular acoustic and plugged open music sessions, and the next one of these will on Sunday afternoon, 6th October, at 2:30pm.The Quay also provides an extensive coffee and tea menu and fantastic selection of naughty yummies (cakes, desserts) that can be enjoyed all day. We welcome dogs and well behaved owners, and also have a wonderful large garden where you can enjoy the lovely sea air.
