We were staying at the Cragg cottages about a 10 minute walk from the hinchcliffe. The Hinchcliffe had been recommended to us before we had even left north Wales for our weekend away! The meal was gorgeous, I had the chicken burger and my partner had the crab starter and then fish and chips, the meal was the best out... More

We had Sunday dinner and for £11 it is absolutely superb, both in terms of taste and quantity. The beef was perfect and trimmings lovely. The puddings were a real let down though and they need to work on these.

We visited on a Saturday night. 3 x couples. Was very welcoming on arrival the young lad (sorry didn't catch your name) was friendly and worked so hard running around to make sure everyone had what they wanted. The food was amazing. Tasty and fresh local produce. We will be returning soon and would recommend a visit.

Have visited several times with many family members. Was in the area so decided to call in for lunch solo. Never disappointed here and opted for calf's liver which was succulent with mash and roasted roots.

Very nice meal, just a little pricy £12 for a burger and chips and extra £1.50 for a slice of bacon.. I had the hot beef, very nice thought there would have been more beef, the gravy was delicious.

We called here for morning coffee after vising the farm shop for the first time in its temporary home. The weather was extremely wet and windy and the restaurant walls were being given a good bashing by the wind, but it was warm, dry and cosy inside. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful, coffee and food excellent. The blackboard... More

I visited the restaurant with my daughter for Sunday lunch, this was the first time we have been here. It was very busy 8 minutes after opening and 2 tables left. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. I chose the Pork belly and my daughter went for the traditional Sunday roast Beef.It was delicious both were given large... More

The last time I visited was years ago so I haven't seen the 'temporary' set up. We called in at around 11.15. One of us had a breakfast and the other a cake. Both were very good. I didn't see the full menu, but by judging the specials listed on the board it looked as if it should be good.... More

This is a regular lunch place for me with friends. It's set in a large tent/conservatory. I have always enjoyed all the food I have had. Note, the portions are large, so I find one course more than sufficient at lunch time. I have always found the staff and service very good. Certainly worth a visit. The farm shop is... More
