Location and contact

Set in a rural village location the Foresters Arms is a hidden gem! We are a family run business with over 25 years in the food and hospitality industry. With Greg at the helm, Dawn running the kitchen and a great team of chefs and waiting staff, we strive to make your dining experience not only enjoyable and friendly but somewhere you will feel right at home! All our food is homemade by our team of trained chefs using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. If asked to describe our food, we’d say simple, high quality home-cooking with nods to Italy and France, served up with a modern twist. We look forward to seeing you.

Just come home £50 lighter and unsatisfied. Small Sunday menu which is fair enough but should make it easier to provide a decent roast. Raw slimy beef (it did say pink on the menu but that was only option and it was NOT good) with...More

From the minute we walked in we knew it was going to be a nice experience. The place was warm and welcoming. When we ordered Staff apologised that there might be a wait because they were about to serve a large party in the back....More

This is a lovely pub with great staff and good real ales! On recommendation, we have visited this place a few times recently and find it to be warm, comfortable and reasonably priced. However, before Christmas I ordered a sirloin steak and it was dreadful!...More

The food was disappointing, my salad lacked imagination and a lot of greenery. £2+ for 5 small pieces of bread and £2+ for a few olives. Overall not value for money and mediocre service. We won’t hurry back.

We have not been to the Foresters since its current makeover and was impressed with the modern feel. Having read some reviews was a little concerned but very pleased with the choice and quality and presentation of the food. Our family was of a varied...More

For anyone who is a fan of ‘boil in the bag’ roast beef in gravy, frozen veg and Yorkshires, this place is an absolute must as long as you don’t mind paying £11.95 to eat such awful fare!
