I go here for the fish, which is generally on for the daily specials. Good chef, straightforward service. I was told the restaurant was around in the 30s and the layout is like an old fashioned dining room. Depending on what you have expect to pay £20-30 per head, but cheaper for Sunday lunch.

Very Good, well cooked with a good variety of hot vegetables. Basic price is only £10 for main and dessert with excellent glass of house red. Will visit again.

Have been here before but that was some time ago. A couple of weeks ago we just took a chance and went for a meal on a Thursday evening. It's a very quiet restaurant not many people eating in there. The service was great, very attentive head waiter and we also got to meet the proprietor who is also the... More
