My 3rd time visiting today and as always everything was perfect. Ali luke are the most amazing waiters and always remember us. We had the pleasure today of kosta(apologies if not spelt correctly) the owner serving us and what a treat! He made all 4...of us feel so welcome. Every single member of staff is a credit to him. Even the youngsters go above and beyond Sotirios is my favourite restaurant but when I go there I don't feel like I'm In a restaurant I feel like I'm at a friend or relatives house for dinner because it's just so beautifully welcoming. Best service I've ever experienced anywhere. What a gem this place isMore

Old fashioned and all the better for it have lived round the corner for over 2 years without trying owing to people saying to me it was old fashioned .went for Sunday lunch very busy wife had rib of beef carved at the table I...had kleftico both starters were fine large rations very happy diners I would highly recommend old fashioned maybe but it has lasted for many years give it a try you won’t regret itMore

Excellent food, excellent service. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left we had a warm, friendly and very attentive service from all the staff we came in contact with. The food was excellent, we had a Meze starter which we shared...followed by 2 main courses of mousaka and Lamb koftika with a bottle of wine. Carafe of water and complimentary bread arrived swiftly once we sat down. They gave us time without a rush to select our order, checking in momentarily. Our food was superb, both the starter and main courses and they were delivered without undue delay. Tasty and flavoursome. Our wine was delivered first and we were offered to taste before committing. On completion of our meals our table was swept for crumbs by the attentive staff. The desserts looked lovely but we declined being already full. If we had chosen, I am sure it would have been excellent as well. We were not rushed in any way as my partner finished her drink. It was a Thursday evening and the tables were buzzing with customers but not completely booked out. Not a weekend when I understand you have to usually book well in advance to get a reservation. All in all a very very good experience which is rare to find these days unless in a very up market establishment and we will definitely visit again if in the area. We will be passing on our recommendation to our accommodation hosts who can inform other guests in future.More

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. From the friendly attentive staff to the lovely ambience, everything felt just right and made us know that we were in for a good experience. The food was lovely and asking to have Taramasalata added to the mini meze was...no trouble. We had 2 tournedos Rossini and 2 Stifado, which were wonderful. The only complaint I have is not having enough room for dessert :)More

We have just spent a month in the UK and our experience at Stay2A which is a boutique B & B above Sotirio's Restaurant was the absolute highlight of our amazing holiday. It is a family run business and after only a few days we...felt part of that warm, caring family... we stayed there 12 nights and each day after our trips out sight seeing we would return to a magic welcome... we spent every evening in their pretty garden... nothing was too much trouble for Luca, Alex and their staff...the B & B was modern and spacious, restaurant food and service amazing... and the Sunday roast was superb... with father, Costa carving at your table. Situated in the center of Folkestone this restaurant and B & B is a must experience.More

This was my mums favourite restaurant she came once a month with friends. We lost her suddenly in August of this year and today would have been her 70th birthday. The staff remembered mum and used her name and offered us drinks to toast her...memory. As always the food was amazing, the kindness offered by staff is so personal you feel like you’re the only customer in the restaurant. My family’s favourite restaurant by far !!More

Once again a first class meal with excellent service and great atmosphere. The service was as friendly as the previous visit. We will be returning whenever we stay nearby.

I ate at Soterios for the first time this evening and couldn’t wait to write this review. The restaurant was full and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, we were a party of 8 and everyone cleared their plates. However the best thing...about this restaurant was the fantastic staff. I can’t remember the last time I was made to feel this welcome. I can’t wait to visit again and will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family.More

We finally ate at Sotirios last night and the experience was every bit as amazing as everyone says it is! We were blown away by the service, everyone there was so so friendly, warm and knowledgeable. We were made to feel so welcome and all...commented that we can’t remember the last time we’d had such good service. And the food… well I’m not sure I have the vocab to do it justice!! We had starters and mains, all had different things (meat, fish and veggie) and everything was just asbolutely stunning. So fresh and the flavours were just off the charts, this was the best meal any of us have had in so long we can’t remember. I just can’t recommend Sotirios enough, you will not be disappointed :) I’ve also stayed upstairs (sadly not yesterday) in their gorgeous rooms and would heartily recommend those too! Make a mini holiday of it 😁More
