The only restaurant we use when ordering a curry. The meals are made from scratch with fresh ingredients and have never been dissapointed with our order. On occasions when the restaurant is busy it can longer than normal however we always check when putting our order in so we know when to expect our meals. The menu has been improved... More

Just had 2 curries tonight, a chicken and mushroom bhoona and a lamb biryani and both were absolutley delicious ! The staff could not have been nicer, especially the waiter and the lovely chef who was very welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit .

My daughters went for a meal, took over an hour to get any food , which they couldn't eat as it was mingling,They brought me back a chicken bhoona, I can honestly say that I have had water with more taste. It's a shame used to be a nice place.

We visited the restaurant yesterday in Dunoon. The weather was wet and miserable outside but inside the restaurant was warm and cosy. We were taken to our table straight away, placed our drinks order and chose the offered poppadoms and dips for a starter. These were very tasty, followed by our main course curries. The portion size was perfect and... More

Had the meal for 2 deal. Excellent value and good portions of both starters and main courses. Starters were chicken and veg pakora - very fresh and not at all greasy. Karahi and jalfrezi were really tasty.

On a 2 night flying visit to Dunoon we chose the Bangladesh Tandoori on the basis of the numerous positive reviews. Both my partner and I being from Glasgow, we're spoiled for choice when it comes to curry cuisine, and therefore a little bit of curry snobs! On a Friday night we were surprised to find a largely empty restaurant,... More

Come here for lunch everytime we visit Dunoon (from Glasgow ) and never been disappointed. Fresh tasty curries, good service and nice staff. The new waiter was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Good value too at £7.95 for 3 courses. Only one thing to say on the down side was the juice wasn't really fizzy. Not sure if they use... More

Very good curry house with properly cooked (not just warmed up) food - vegetables still recognisable (many curry houses boil them down to nothing), fish dishes not limited to king prawns but include salmon and changing white fish, and best of all very tasty. Highly recommended.

We had a choice of three Indian restaurants in Dunoon. After reading the reviews we decided on the Bangledesh, and were not disappointed. Ali, our waiter was lovely and attentive, great communication, smiles and courteous. The food was excellent, Creamy sauces and very reasonably priced. Just one small critique was that the special rice was a bit bland. The Peshwari... More
