Fancied a day out from Greenock so we booked a table for 3pm. Took the ferry from Gourock pier to the centre of Dunoon. Arrived early and were greeted by friendly and efficient staff who informed us that they could not serve us food right...away but would get us a table and some drinks until ready to order. We both had Sunday roast lunch and were very impressed. In fact first class. Staff were excellent. Food was excellent. And place was spotlessly clean. All prices including drinks were fair. Would highly recommend and we will return.More

Arrived to find a lovely warm and welcoming setting. My wife and daughter are vegetarian and really fancied the Sunday dinner. The staff were accommodating and swapped the meet for vegetarian Haggis, and the chef even made them onion gravy in place of the meat...gravy. Nothing to much trouble. Great value and really really nice food. Great value and great hospitalityMore

We arrived half hour early for our table, this was no problem and we had a drink at the bar, the bar staff were friendly and helpful. We were quickly moved to our table, the food arrived quickly, the servings were large, all the dishes...we had tasted amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.More

Went here for lunch recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Soup of the day was v tasty and the steak pie was a tasty, large and satisfying dish. Only issue, turnip a tad hard. Service vary good too. Would recommend.

Sunday lunch, can’t fault it. Enough room for pudding if you choose. We’ll run, staff absolutely spot on, probably the best choice for food in Dunoon from what we’ve seen. Outside space is great, recommend

Lovely find in a town with very little in the way of places to eat. Really nice outdoor drinking area to sample the lovely cocktails, and cosy indoor eating area. We took advantage of the Tuesday burger deal and it was excellent value, great food....All of the staff were really welcoming and made our visit very pleasantMore

Don't think so as against hygiene regulations. Do have outside seating but that won't be of much use just now.
