Clean restaurant with fast service. This is just as well as the place has no ambience. Our food was fresh and tasty, but our two entirely different meals arrived looked as though they had the same sauce. For what it was , the meal was...More

Food was well cooked and tasty. Beware of sharp business practice. Ask for tap water or you will be charged for the bottle on the table. Make sure they read back the order to you. Order of Nan and rice to share became a portion...More
Thank you for your feedback. We will in future ensure that it is made clearer that the bottled water is not complementary, although it is usually confirmed upon sitting down. Perhaps there has been a misunderstanding as the bar service is charged separately on the...More
An unassuming Indian restaurant in the historic town of Dunkeld. Standard fare but cooked to perfection and well-presented by the very efficient and friendly staff. Particularly good pakora here! Don't miss it if you are in the area.
Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it! Hope to see you back again soon.
Had a meal here about 9.15pm on a Monday evening in mid June when most other places in the town had stopped doing food. It was serendipitous, as we really enjoyed our meal and couldn't fault the food or service. Reasonable cost and pleasant surroundings....More

Thank you for your review - all feedback is appreciated. I'm not sure what you mean by vegetarian as we offer lamb, chicken, king prawn and more dishes as well as the vegetable options. Perhaps I am misunderstanding, however I would be more than happy...More
Another very enjoyable meal. Proper indian cusine, correct blend of spice. Recommend both the rogan josh and sagg dishes. Owner and staff very attentive.
That's great to hear, thank you for reviewing us! We hope to see you back again soon.
On a weekend trip we decided to forego the hotel's cuisine and have a curry. The Darjeeling is a light and bright restaurant on the main street. On arrival we got our seats and while the staff were perfectly pleasant and helpful, I felt at...More

A previous reviewer got it spot on when they said the manager was abrupt and surly. The person taking our drinks made 2 different drink order mistakes (not sure he could even speak English). The chicken masala (claimed to be the Queen's favourite) was bland...More
We are sorry but very surprised - our chicken masala has been the top selling dish for the last 13 years! Despite being the Queen's acclaimed favourite dish, it is unique to every restaurant, and we have certainly had good reviews from other customers in...More
