Visited for lunch. Lovely welcome and prompt service. The mains and puds were delicious and well presented. Wish them all well for the future. Everything, including toilets were clean and fresh.

Call In For a spot of tea Just wanted a quick pint and a bit of tea Opted for the soup starter and a prawn cocktail festival the wrong super arrived tomato instead of mushroom but in all fairness was rectified Quickly although the mushroom...soup was lukewarm at best although there is a gluten free menu I wasn’t any gluten-free bread to have with the prawn cocktail as it had arrived on the delivery we went for the steak Both medium rare steak were well presented and looked good but the one steak was very chewy And my partner could barely eat it but I mentioned this to the staff and we had a discount of 50% so I couldn’t really complain all in all on a different day it is just decent pub food at pub pricesMore

Second pub visited for birthday tea as the first one left us sat for 15 mins without serving us with drinks. Very surprised with how nice it was inside. Bright and airy with friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Seated and...served very quickly. The food was great even on a reduced menu (new menu being launched in 3 days) Very reasonable and nicely cooked and prepared.More

This is the worst Sunday lunch I have had in many years. Waited forever and when arrived not impressed, the Yorkshire pudding was more akin to a soggy pancake, vegetables like water and tasteless clearly from froze, roast potatoes 2 small burnt tasteless, gravy from...granules……..very disappointing all round and will never return.More
