Ate here on our first night away in Hay. We were welcomed immediately and felt at ease straight away. The food was delicious, hot and prompt considering it was cooked fresh to order. Highly recommend and would go again.

Lively atmosphere, good food and quick service when all hands were to the pump. I'd say the best place to eat in Hay during festival fortnight.

Friendly, helpful barmaid. We both had whitebait followed by risotto which was very nice and satisfying such that we had no room for dessert - good value. Good choice of real ale appreciated by my husband.
