Called in for a couple of beers in the beer garden. Food looked nice and seemed well priced. Well worth a visit.

Well cooked lunch (we had the chicken & leak pie, ratatouille with rice and jacket potato with toppings), some nice desserts and you can enjoy a big slice of cake too. Found the prices slightly high for the meal, but otherwise enjoyable.

We visited this pub three times during our stay in Hay, twice for lunch and once for a drink. We don't often go to pubs but were drawn to this one as it was quiet, friendly and cosy, with a tasty-sounding menu. After a long,...More

Came here as a result of a recommendation and for the most part were not disappointed. The bacon burgers were so tasty that we didn't realize they had forgotten the bacon until after we'd paid and left! Gammon and chicken pie both excellent. Excellent real...More
Hello Ken, We're so glad you enjoyed your meal with us. We think the burgers are pretty top notch! The smoked bacon is in the actual burger, which adds all the nice flavouring while they cook. Sorry if you thought it was separate, we'll make...More
