Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A small unassuming looking cafe on the outside, but once through the door it was wonderful. Clearly busy with locals taking food away. Friendly, chatty staff. We sat in and had great food. Big menu , imaginative brunches, paninis and salads etc..all our food was...just delicious. Thankyou.More

So glad we walked up the hill to find this cafe. We were able to sit inside at one of the two tables. Lunch was delicious, we really enjoyed our salads (my children were happy as they could pick and choose the salad items they...wanted) and ciabatta. Food was really fresh and tasty and staff welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a pleasant walk back into the town centre through the park afterwards.More

What a lovely place! Accommodated mum brilliantly, with her need for soft foods. My rocky road was delicious too.

Visited this cafe on a rainy day. Both tables were booked however we had 45 mins to have a veggie breakfast which Mark the chef cooked and it was very filling and presented so well. It's a small and lovely place. Nice place to have...a breakfast. Thank you Mark and the team , hope to see you again.More

I had a look on TripAdvisor for recommendations and found it curious that this cafe was listed as number 1 in town... which means people are actively promoting it with reviews. It's encouraging when individuals want to review a small business like this. And it...turns out it was within walking distance of the accommodation that I was staying in...which was a bonus. It's located on a busy intersection on London Road and is placed right near the crossing which may make it difficult to get parking nearby, particularly if it's busy. BUT it's so worth doing so. Immediately I was taken with the pleasant staff as I walked in... there are only two tables inside, but from my observations it does mostly take away. The food looks so fresh and there are many healthy choices. My eyes were drawn to the panini board - I ordered a Yankee. I had a bit of a giggle with the board because there is an 'Aussie' that has marmite--- no self-respecting Australian would eat marmite. *laughs* The panini came with a salad choice. I chose the coleslaw and a rice salad... they added crisps. The rice salad was utterly amazing- so tasty... I would eat that as a meal on its own. And the coleslaw was the best I have ever eaten... it looked strange to me being so white, but OH MY GOD ... it was mouthfuls of lusciousness. The panini was also very tasty. The only thing letting my plate down is that they put that syrupy muck on it that is meant to make it look good... well it's horrible... but for some reason cafes and restaurants continue to grace their plates with it instead of letting their food do the talking. AND there was no talking necessary... everything was exceptionally tasty. After visiting this, the reviews all make sense... it's amazing. Worthy of a visit... or two... maybe three... I wonder if they will consider opening a second store in Australia...hmmmmMore

Great service, only 6 or 7 seats, terrific variety of breakfast options, beautiful local ingredients perfectly cooked….and an equally perfect pot of tea. Brilliant atmosphere, no wonder it’s so popular.
