Visited for morning coffee. Cafe welcoming and covid safe. Good menu, cream tea tasty. Huge bookstore area, lots of “knickknacks “ too. Clean toilets on the level. Big car park.

Every time we visit the Peak District we make time to visit this great shop. Spent an hour looking round & buying some books & then had a cuppa in the cafe.

Possibly my favourite cafe, with a great ambience, very friendly staff, and super food. I love the references to the fact that it was a garage many years ago. Well organised for social-distancing, hand sanitation etc. It sits very well with the wonderful High Peak...More
