As always the vegan breakfast was amazing. Something different but totally delicious. Very busy but still really good service with a friendly smile.

Whilst on a day out in Bakewell my daughter in law recommended the Chakra Lounge for lunch. We had not booked but received a friendly welcome and were shown to a table in the window. My grandson was with us and loved playing with the...toys, games and books that were available. The restaurant is a vegan and Indian cuisine. We had a variety of vegan drinks including a Tumeric latte that my son ordered and it was delicious. I asked for the Nachodums and this is a small dish and made of nachos in a chickpea salsa with onions, tomato, coriander chillis and smashed avocado. Wow it was lovely. All of us are enjoyed the food. We spent a lovely hour in there and can highly recommend it.More

An absolute gem of a place. Amazing flavours and friendly staff. Had a blue latte but I can't remember the name of it ..anyway it was superb!

We are vegetarian - it is a brilliant menu, spoilt for choice. Would definitely recommend the Naan with Curry dish! Hope to revisit soon. Thank you.

Very busy, even a little after the lunchtime rush, but they found us a space. Really cool place, fantastic atmosphere, staff are fab, very helpful and knowledgeable about their food and menu. The dishes brought out looked so delicious and it tasted delicious too. I...had the best milkshake ever, blueberry with crushed pomegranate on top, it tasted like heaven. My other half said his vegetarian dish was fragrant and subtle, but quite spicy as well. Beautifully cooked. In fact, everything was perfect, including my pancakes with fruit and ice cream. So, after searching the streets of Buxton for something that resembled a decent Café, we saw this quirky and vibrant Café and liked their vision about supporting local suppliers of quality ingredients, so in we want. The lady that served us was really warm and...helpful and we ordered 2 tumeric and ginger lattes with a shot of coffee on the side. Wow, what a fab combination and we had a blueberry scone each to satisfy our scone fetish. Both were amazing, and we couldn't say enough good things about this gorgeous cage. Always great food and a buzzy atmosphere. Staff are helpful. Gets busy so probably worth booking a table. Dog friendly!

This is my third or forth visit, this place does some delicious drinks and food. I’ve had the tiffin previously and always have the rose and cardimon milkshake. Had the chilli cheese toastie which was a nice twist on a classic. Great attentive and friendly...customer service. Pretty sure they’ll be a sixth visit.More

How to make a visit to Buxton memorable! This small fronted cafe has a great atmosphere and fantastic welcoming staff. As the name suggests your not going to get run of the mill chips and burger but an indulgent menu full of spice and promise....From the array of teas we chose matcha and pistachio and a turmeric chia but we were spoilt and could of drank them all. Prices are very decent and match Costa prices. We both had The Bombay Benedict (chefs kiss) ...... so folks this is a definite must visit in Buxton. We will definitely be going again and againMore

My favourite eatery in Buxton. Tasty well cooked food, so different from the blah de blah! The restaurant is so ambient, relaxing and friendly l could stay there all day. Lovely welcoming staff and very friendly as befits the ethos. X
