Lovely staff but unfortunately we're asked to leave as we had our 12 yr old border terrier with us and was sitting outside. It's the only pub in Buxton that doesn't allow dogs inside or out much to the staffs disappointment. Such a shame. They...must be losing alot of customMore

Food nice. App insecure. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered food on the Wetherspoon app and second time I’ve scanned bank card on cam only to have the app hang. Unsure if payment gone through or not. Had to order at the bar to...be sure. I won’t order in the app again.More

We all ordered Indian and the food was amazing! The naan bread and crackers were made fresh so tasted so good. The food was warm and had so much flavour! Drinks were included with the meal (you pay +40p if you desire an alcoholic drink)....We ordered online and the drinks came really quickly yet the food took quite a while yet fortunately it was worth it!More

Called in for breakfast on a recent day trip to Buxton and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the building, decor and overall surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff and the food was good quality. For those unfamiliar with Wetherspoon's menu, it's pub grub and...excellent value. Must admit that I was surprised by some of the negative reviews as I would definitely recommend this venueMore

Was staying in a Buxton Hotel for the night and decided to have dinner here on Monday 23rd August 2021. We arrived at about 6pm, was very busy inside and out. Got a table ok in a quiet position. we are familiar with the menu....Ordered at the till. The food was very nice as were the drinks and of course the price is what attracts people to Wetherspoons. We had a further drink before leaving. Staff were very friendly and so helpfulMore

Always like going to Wetherspoons on our travels & usually find all OK. Nothing wrong with the pub or staff it was the food here. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza & it was very poor, sparse topping & the rocket on top was a...joke a few leaves which were very old & sad, I even joked with young girl asking had the wind blown the rocket away. It has put me off buying Pizzas from Wethers.More

Worst Wetherspoons I’ve ever been in. Glasses were filthy. One egg wasn’t cooked properly. Popadoms stale. Rice was dry and rubbery. Looked a lovely location so very disappointed.

The usual standard menu, so no surprises. Sat outside as weather was nice but could not use the app to order. Ordered via the staff and two different meals turned up in only 10 mins and served as we asked. Faultless. Both meals were excellent...and the staff efficient and friendly. Confirms to the expected Weatherspoons formula with no surprises, it's good.More
