I have been to this restaurant many times and have always loved it but I went this weekend with my partner for their birthday and was disappointed. We ordered the hot sharing starter. We have had this several times and it was always lovely, but...this time it was far smaller and of lesser quality. There was only one piece of halloumi on the platter and when we queried this we were told it's because the chef had put an extra piece of deep friend cheese. I would expect two of each item on a sharing platter and I certainly didn't want anymore deep fried cheese when almost the whole platter was deep fried cheese, which was vastly different to the other times we have had it! Very disappointing and cheap for a starter that costs £20. I ordered a passion fruit Martini and i couldn't taste any alcohol in it. My partner's baklava was a tiny portion. Lastly, when we arrived we told them we had a reservation but they proceeded to sit us without checking on the system. This didn't appear to be an issue until we realised this meant they didn't see the note that it was a birthday and so we watched other tables get sung happy birthday but not my partner and their birthday went unnoticed. It's just such a shame as we usually love it here, but it looks like they're scrimping on food quality now and so it's not worth the price you pay.More

We've been to the kervan few times and have always loved it. Last night we went again and was quite disappointed, the food was okay, the portions have shrunk and the onions weren't given on the salad it was replaced with more rocket instead, it's...not good value for money at all. When we got the bill we were charged for 2 double vodkas and I didn't order doubles, when I questioned it I was told that they automatically serve doubles unless you state otherwise, there is no notice of this, I told the waitress that they shouldn't be doing it and that people should be made aware of it, but I got no reply. It's very expensive £125 for 4 meals and 2 drinks each, when the bill came it said £138 because they automatically put a service charge on, you can have it removed but that's not the point. Like they don't charge enough already!More

Beautiful restaurant with incredible food, service and a live singer to give ambience. It is not cheap but worth it. Will be back for sure.

I have given this venue an average rating for the following reasons:- 1. Throughout our visit the waiters were arguing and shouting above our heads. 2. After living in the Middle East for more than 15 years experiencing a lot of Turkish cuisine, this was...not up to standard in respect of authenticity. 3. In particular the Falafel was very poor, for the first time we could observe the individual ingredients rather than a minced version. Sorry guys we were a family 6 and we all had no more than an average night.More

I went for dinner with a friend on a couple of Saturdays ago. The restaurant itself wasn't really busy and had a live singer on which was lovely. The food was nice, so I couldn’t thought of the food I had, however our service from...our waiter (Muhammed) wasn’t that enjoyable! He was miserable, looked like he didn't want to be there, he was rushing us with our orders and food. As soon as we sat down at our table, we didn’t even get to look at our menu, he was like what do you want! He wasn’t very friendly, just miserable. I felt like he didn’t want to be there and if we wanted anything it was like more effort for him . This isn't the type of service I expect when I’m going to restaurants for a night out. Also the food had giving me an upset belly! I’m not sure if it’s the oil or what, but my belly didn’t agree with it the next day and I always have the same order when I go.More

I went for dinner with a friend on a Saturday evening, the restaurant itself wasn't overly busy considering it was a Saturday. I can't fault the food from here as it is lovely (bread at the beginning was a bit dry but overall the food...was good) however our service from our waiter (Muhammed) was awful! He was miserable, looked like he didn't want to be there, he was rushing us with our orders and food. He got my drink order wrong and when he bought the drinks over and I politely said I didn't order this I ordered X, he took the drink away rolled his eyes and off he stomped to the bar to get the correct drink. Everything I would expect off a waiter was too much trouble and effort for him and he did not want to be there at all. This isn't the type of service I expect when going to resturant.More

Can not fault this place, been here several times, foods always awesome, and the staff are super attentive whilst also having a good balance of letting you take your time! Granted they do get busy depending on the time you go, but not in a...neglectful way, just visibly busy!More

I’ve visited here with my family for lunch, we’ve had the best service and food portions was incredible. They have set menu for lunch great price and options. Definitely will be back for dinner as well.

Me and my husband went here for lunch today for a pre-anniversary lunch. We had the worst service where the waitress couldn’t be bothered and sat there on her phone most of the time. The food was disgusting, my husband had the ribs and was...mostly covered in fat and gristle. My chicken was cold and tasted terrible. Neither of us were able to finish our meals. I then had the Oreo cheesecake as I thought surely this couldn’t be too bad, the biscuit is soft and squidgy like it had been sat out all day and the cheesecake base was soft as well and tasted disgusting! A girl who loves her desserts was unable to finish this. We came out £60 lighter and disgusted but the whole thing! We will never be going there again and just absolutely shocking!! The food has really gone downhill and it’s like they just can’t be bothered. Don’t bother if you want a nice meal out!More

Delicious meal , lovely portions . I had a mixed grill and my wifey had a chicken wings which were both yummy . Great cocktails too

Food is way over priced for what it is. I had a prawn starter which consisted of 4 of the smallest king prawns ive ever seen that were mostly shell. Chicken sish for main. It was nice enough but not worth the price. Rice was...bland and they try to make it look like there's loads on the plate by putting lots of salad on there. My children enjoyed their meals though and for the amount of food they got the kids meals weren't a bad price. I don't think I'd return.More

First visit and was pleasantly surprised at the venue, it is tastefully decorated, attentive staff and delicious food. Certainly be returning.
